I was going to buy Frank from the UK because I'm on a tear looking for Amy songs that I don't have (just got a new job so I can finally afford to collect Amy). I found this, again, while putzing about the Internet. I'm glad I waited before purchasing Frank. Disc 2 makes me drool.

Haha! The URL was long so I just typed in the name. The release date is in May so we have a bit of a wait for that and for the Girl Done Good DVD. I don't know how I'm finding this stuff today, I'm just looking for a copy of Rehab with Do Me Good on it. I'm desperate for that song on CD. I might just order it from Caiman's (Amazon vendor). I'm a bit wary because I never know if they're going to send the right item.

most of the frank era singles were double asides anyway which might explain a lack of bsides, help yourself/pumps, in my bed/you sent me flying, stronger than me and take the box where paired on both singles

I'm tellin' ya, I was so impressed the first time I ordered from Amazon UK. I was living in MI and received the package about 8 days after the order. Now that I live in CT, I order on a Friday and receive it the following Thursday. Unbelievable! I remember collecting ABBA way back when and it took quite some time because you had to mail money (or whatever) and the retailers could pretty much take as long as they want to send the merchandise. Not like to today with all the competition a click away.

As for your question Mimi - there ended up being two deluxe versions of B2B - the other one was in a jewelcase, like the one up top in your post. Maybe this is the same? With the booklet/ slipcase version being the Ltd. Edition

the b2b deluxe edition was better...all songs are in the right "place" and you can listen to them without skipping one song.

Yeah I think cd wow has the jewelcase version..

I ordered it on Ebay. There was no clear item description when I ordered it, but because I didn't realize there would be more than one version of the album it didn't bother me. Stupid me. Anyway, I might get the cool one, but shouldn't be surprised if I don't. If I get the jewelcase version I'll try to sell it and get my hands on the supadupa fly version.

Mine came today from Amazon UK, and what a relief. After reading a lot of the posts, I would have been so bummed to have received the jewel case. But, I would have ordered the supa dupa version anyway. I just could not have done without.

Brilliant liner notes, gorgeous pics (yes I did take a sneak peek at Lee's pics - thanks for that), and it actually didn't spoil any surprise, but only made the anticipation greater. Of the new pics, the 'elbows on the desk' one is my favourite- just lovely. Happy to see that the 'You sent me Flying' demo is actually on there - since it is such an amazing song.

The 'love, Amy' at the beginning, awwwww.

And, for those that understand, it smells lovely, too.

I agree - clean hands are a must, and I handled each page with kid gloves.

This is truly a very special item, and I'm so happy to have it.

Re: 'Teo Licks'. I was just reading about the death of Teo Macero, who was a legendary jazz producer, who produced Miles Davis among others. So, I'm thinking that might be the reference, with 'Licks' being guitar licks. Just a thought.

i need advice! they're only selling the jeweled case version of frank deluxe here in new zealand, but i have to have the hardback... which website would be best to buy off? im looking for one thatll ship to nz, and obviously the best price. amazon are selling for about 15 pounds, plus shipping (which will probably be big) - this seemed a bit steep to me but i guess the hardback edition is priceless (to an extent!). any suggestions?

i paid like 20 € for mine, i got it from ebay, the seller ships worldwide.
it worked really good. it would take longer for you i think, because the sellers are probably all from the UK.
i paid through paypal.

importing is actually easier than i thought.
