Default Mitch blames ex for Winehouse`s continued partying.

Quote:
AMY WINEHOUSE's dad MITCH is fuming following the star's return to the London party scene - and he blames her ex-husband, BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL.
The singer has endured a turbulent few years battling an addiction to narcotics and alcohol, which led to several hospitalisations and rehab attempts.
After a lengthy break in the Caribbean and the finalisation of her divorce from Fielder-Civil last month (Jul09), Mitch hoped his wayward daughter had overcome her troubles.
But Winehouse has promptly returned to the bars and pubs of London - and was photographed looking teary-eyed and tipsy after a night out in the British capital earlier this week (beg17Aug09).
A witness tells Britain's Daily Mail newspaper, "Everyone's been saying that Amy's on the mend, but her behaviour was very worrying. She didn't seem to know what was going on and didn't seem able to walk on her own. People were effectively holding her upright."
A spokesperson admitted the star had "quite a few drinks" but denied she had been taking drugs.
But her father is furious with her latest antics, amid speculation Winehouse is considering a reunion with Fielder-Civil, who is currently in rehab to treat his own substance abuse problems.
Winehouse's dad told a friend, "Seven months of good work is all unravelling because of Blake. What is he doing to her? Why can't he leave her alone?"

I'm so over her parents blaming everyone else for Amy's decisions. It's not Blake or anyone else's fault she's "relapsing"-which i use that word loosely because she has never been 100% clean. It's her own. These are her choices. She needs to be a big girl and go for long term rehab and mental health counseling. she doesn't need enabler parents who place the blame on everyone else and a selfish record company supporting her nasty habits in hopes that they can make more money off of her. But in reality, Amy is stubborn and doesn't seem to give a shit about her life so I'm sure this will carry on until she unfortunately passes away or is left broke and in some sort of other dire state.

Yup, everyone has to take responsiblity fior themself eventually, and Mitch does her no favours by apportioning blame elsewhere; there's no incentive there.

Nobody likes to admit that someone close to them is an addict, but shit happens... and he needs to be mre pro-active.

Maybe now the penny will drop than a proper, professional detox and rehab is required.

She can't hit rock bottom when she constantly has people to protect her from the fall. I gotta piggyback Shay and Kyla, people and the British press have to stop protecting her. You know who would really make an impact? The fans and their pocketbooks.

It's all up to her now! If she can't, in a month, pull off a gig singing backup for one song for Dionne, then ... I shudder to think what will happen.

She's grown. Im quite over the whole protecting Amy efforts. She needs to start performing, recording, and keeping herself busy. Sounds selfish but I honestly believe that it would help her cope a lot better.

I agree with shaylaxtx, a little bit harsh but it's all true. Well said.
