Fucking hell! You guys are all soooo nice. Almost brings a tear to my eye. Seriously. It's all getting a bit gushy in here. Sooooooooooooo.............
The forum is not closing. I just won't be running it anymore. I'll still come on every week and discuss bollocks, I just won't be able to tell you off and have power over you anymore... Ha Ha! Hmmm... I may request I am a moderator though pretty please, new Admin sir...
I've had acouple of people put their names forward. I'm going to give it a few more weeks though so everyone who wants to apply can have the chance. I may send an email to all the members actually.
Thanks for all your kind words everyone!
Clare.

THANK YOU, CLARE? Does the kindness ever end?? We all really appreciate you not only running this home, but also having a LOT of patience with everyone! I am exceptionaly glad this forum will not close, but I am deeply sad that you're stepping down. I really hope you visit (*cough*alot*cough*), as this forum won't be the same without you. :(

Best of luck, Clare. :)

Clare, I'm so sad to hear you won't be running the show around here anymore. :( Can I just say that I think you've done an excellent job here and I really do appreciate all the hard work you do to keep this place what it is. This forum is such a great place, and I am so glad I joined. This is not only the best Amy Winehouse forum out there but the best forum out there. Period. (And I've been on many, many forums) I am glad to hear that you'll be sticking around, but it will definetely feel like something is missing. Honestly, though, I do understand that if your heart is not in it, it's not fun for you and you obviously care about this place enough to let it go. I hope that makes sense. Anyway, Good luck with whatever you decide to do. I do hope you stick around to hear some of that big project our little girl is working on. I know it probably won't change your mind, but maybe if nothing else, it will remind you of why you fell in love with her in the first place and will bring a smile to your face.

Thank you Clare :)

I'll still come on every week and discuss bollocks.

Yes, please do so. I know it sounds really cheesy but it isn't going to be the same and I am sad about that.

But, thank you for allowing someone else to take over. I'd find it difficult to let something go like that. I also feel like the people on here are like my family and that this is my home, and it would be horrible to lose that home. I don't know any other forums that are even half as good as this one. So I really appreciate that you can pass it on.

And I go back to... I go back to us.

do you suppose it's because what doesn't "kill" us makes us stronger? and Amy's antics have certainly tested us, but we've become stronger as a family.

How much does it cost to renew?

Is that the only reason the forum might go offline before the end of the year?

If so, I imagine we can probably raise the money.

Forum won't be going offline.

Clare hopes to be handing it over to someone by then.
