I just read an article that the chinese government banned some Songs from various Artists including Katy Perry and Lady Gaga.
So i got curious and googled if there was an extra Chinese Edit of Back To Black and as you can see there is one, but it only has 8 Tracks:

Missing Songs are: Me & Mr Jones, Back To Black (lol) & Addicted.
Does that have something to do with the lyrics?

As :
Me & Mr. Jones = Fuckery (line)
Back to Black = Puff/Heroine, Blow/Coke
Addicted = Well the entire song is about Cannabis.
Makes sense. China censores everything.
SIGNATURE REMOVED. PLEASE MAKE SURE SIGNATURE DOES NOT EXCEED 500x200 PIXELS.

china government is extremely autocratic an obsolete。
and there are extremely few people know what is jazz, what is soul, what is blues, what is country,,,etc。they just know pop, totally disgustting pop。
maybe you could say there is no valuable music in china, just rubbish all around。
but hopefully, there are some young people like amy,

And do you remember how Amy's topless lady tatoo was censored in US on one of her her single's cover? The censorship is vivid not only in China.

I actually LOVE that she drew a little bikini top over her boobies, makes me smile :-)

Ha, internet is censored there as well... The gov. has an agreement (!) with Google search engine (among others) not to display some content judged as inappropriate. As you can see bisness is business and that's why google is more or less ok with those practices..
What? Are you kidding me?
There must be a way around the censorship, there must be sites that allow certain things? :amyshock:
Isn't it a thing that providers do - I mean blocking sites, and by doing so - censoring the internet? I'm really shocked by this. Isn't it more like an agreement providers sign? 'cause that does happen here, or uhm, they're trying to make it happen.
