Hi! This is my first post on the forum and yesterday was my first Amy concert. My pictures aren't the best but I've attached them anyway. I like the one where is pointing at the audience. :) Honestly I have mixed feelings about her performance. She had moments where she was really amazing but also moments where she was not so good. When she arrived on stage I really thought she was on something... Maybe I am wrong since this is my first time. I guess other fans will be able to give a better review than mine! Enjoy the pictures!

Oh, you were there too? Cool, that makes that at least 4 people of this forum where there! Ok so here is what I have to say.... Oh my god, it was such an amazing day! Byron (byronjones) and I went together, Byron came from England by train that morning and then we went straight to the venue. We got there at about half past 12. I immediately saw her bus, it was parked right in front of the venue. I thought Amy was inside already and was thinking about going to look at the back entrance to see if someone was there, when some people got out of the bus. First I didn't see Amy because she was wearing a cardigan that I didn't recognize, but then I saw it was her. We were just like "oh my god!". We yelled her name (I think, it went really fast) but she didn't look. She didn't look too happy. It could have been that she missed us because she only saw the paparazzi though. We asked her bodyguard and the security man if there was any chance Amy would come back out and they said no. But it was only 1 o'clock, so we knew she wouldn't stay inside for 7 hours. A while later she did come back out, but she went into the bus very quickly and didn't see us. I'm guessing she had a nap in the bus, and a couple of hours later she came back out. We were standing at a really good place next to the entrance so she couldn't miss us. She walked right past us, and she said hi! I think she asked "You ok?", she may have said more but it went so fast (so Byron if she said more, please tell us because I don't remember). She was a couple of steps past us and Byron yelled that he came from London, and then she turned around again. I am 100% sure that if the paparazzi weren't there and if her bodyguard wasn't pushing her to get inside, she would have stayed with us a bit longer. (so sorry Zoe, I don't have a picture of us together unless we find the paparazzi pictures, because I can imagine we'll be on some of them too) Not long after she got inside, a man came and asked Byron if he came from London and if he had tickets for the gig because Amy wanted to make sure Byron had tickets and sent the man back to ask it! How nice is that, right? She is such a nice woman. And I know this has been said before, but my god she is so small! She looked good though, when I saw her from up close I was surprised by how good - even healthy- she looked. But it's not over yet... We saw her a fourth time! The doors (that are made of glass) were closed and Byron and I were in front of the doors because we were the first in the queue, she saw us and we waved (I did, anyway) and then she... I don't know how to say it... it wasn't really waving, but it looked so cool (Byron could you explain what I mean?) Amy isn't the only person we saw... We also met Heshima. He was really friendly. Byron asked if we could get a photograph and then Heshima said that it was fine but first he had to bring some things inside. A while later he came back to have our picture taken and we talked a bit. He knew who Byron was because Byron has talked to Zalon before and Zalon told Heshima about him (I hope I'm making sense). He said Zalon was sleeping but that he would tell him about us as soon as he woke up, and a while later Zalon came to say hi too! He could have easily just gone inside without saying anything because I hadn't even seen him, but he came to us to say hi and we took a picture. I can't believe how friendly they all are. Amy, Heshima and Zalon, even her bodyguard (and let's not forget the nice security man who let us in to use the bathroom when we weren't actually allowed to go in)... they were all so friendly! We also saw Blake twice right before the doors opened, he has even been standing right in between Byron and me. After the show, Heshima and Zalon were standing in the hall of the venue and when they saw us Heshima (or was it Zalon?) yelled Byron's name, so we went to say hi again. Heshima gave me a hug and asked if I enjoyed the show, I said it was great. We also saw the drummer and told him it was a great show. During the show, it happened almost 10 times that I looked at Heshima and he looked at me, and he smiled. The more it happened, the bigger his smile was because it was funny that we seemed to look at eachother at the same time so much. Anyway, I'd almost forget to say something about the show. It was all Halloween themed, which was so cool, I didn't expect they'd do anything special at all. They were all dressed up. Some had wigs, some had funky sunglasses, some had masks. They also had inflatable pumpkins on stage and Amy had white in her hair, as you can see on the pics. Byron and I were on the first row, right in front of Amy. In the beginning Amy was drinking a lot. I think she had 3 drinks in not a very long space of time. I was worried she would drink too much and that it would go wrong but luckily it didn't and after a number of songs she stopped drinking so much. At times she did look bored, but at other times she was laughing and seemed to be enjoying herself. Like one moment she looked bored, a couple of seconds later she looked all happy again. When playing the guitar didn't go very well, she'd laugh. Also she had a fan (as a prop) and couldn't open it very well at first but then she finally managed to open it, which was quite funny. Someone in the audience yelled something, I didn't understand what, and then she said "Oh, you want to drink? You want to kiss?... You want to babysit her?". lol Well you can see how her dress looked, I think it was a nice dress although she was having some cleavage problems. You couldn't help but notice the scars on her arm. I've seen these scars many times before but as she was standing there right in front of me, it looked even worse. I wouldn't say she looked emaciated or anything, she just looked like she had the body of a 12 year old, but with boobs. When I'd see her legs and then her shoes, it felt weird to see heels because you wouldn't expect heels under that kind of legs. After the show, a woman came to me to ask if I was Sarah (in English). I thought "ok how does she know my name, this is freaky". It turned out she is a member of this forum too and knew I was going, and she had recognized me from my pictures on myspace. It was so cool she came to say hi! Tatiana if you're reading, please make a post too. :) We have seriously not sat down for 11 hours (apart from one time when i went to use the bathroom, but that was only a couple of seconds), I'm still not quite sure how my knees survived that. It was quite cold too, but man, it was worth every second of it and I could do this again every day. PS: Kev, I have something for you. Black and white on one side, in colour on the other. I think you know what I mean. ;) PS 2: Byron please correct me if I said anything wrong or forgot anything important. EDIT: Wow, I didn't realize this post was so long! If you've made it to the end, well done. ;)   Here are some of the pictures Byron took (thanks by the way!): Me with Heshima: [attachment=771] Me with Zalon (and Amy's bus Lol): [attachment=772] And some more of Amy: EDIT: See Byron's post for more pictures.

sarahbol - Thanks for the review! It's cool that you met them before the show. :) When you said she didn't wave but did something cooler, did she do the "two fingers thing" near her forehead? Because when someone waved in the audience that's what she did. Also the guy shouted: "I want a kiss!" I was on his right a little behind. He was pretty drunk and kinda annoying. lol

Hello, Ok, I am back now at home, with tired legs!!!!! "Hi Sarah" the train ride was ok, got chatting to some nice people about Amy!!!! Well I think Sarah has covered every little detail!!!!! It was crazy having Amy say hi to us, and turning around and waving back, me shouting that I came to see her from London got her attention, and we got the biggest grin from her......of course whats better was the fact that her minder came out to ask if I had a ticket, Amy was wondering.........man I could of died!!!! Me and Sarah were so excited, we just kept smiling!!!! As for Blake, well the poor guy couldnt get into the venue, however we didnt expect him to make his way through the crowd and stood next to us, I mean so close I could smell him (he smelt of sweets...cant explain really) anyway, he ended up going back out and I stood back to let him past and he said "thanks" - it was just strange being so close to them.....the whole day was full of events and time did pass quite quick even though our legs got a grilling! Zalon had this fan and he gave it to Amy who played with it, she later dropped it, then near the end Zalon had a fan in his hand.....I am not 100% sure if it was the same one, but he threw it out and I caught it. It was also crazy when we left and Zalon called my name....he recognised me from the Itunes gig....he even asked how I was getting home. I cant bear to think what would of happened if I said I had no where to go!!!! Lucky for me I had somewhere to stay, thanks to Sarah and her parents so I am very gratefull for that! and for the Chocolate cheese stuff!!!!!! Pictures coming up, takes ages, and youtube videos also, however I will post the link on here. Byron p.s Kevin.....yout going to love what Sarah has for you!!!!!!

Yes, the two fingers thing. She did it twice on stage too (one time with the fan instead of her fingers), but it looked even cooler when she did offstage. I can't explain why, she just did it like "yeah i'm cool". lol

and for the Chocolate cheese stuff!!!!!!

lol

Thank you for wanting to come! It was a pleasure to have you here. If you wouldn't have come, all this wouldn't have happened to you but it wouldn't have happened to me either!
I just can't believe how lucky we have been. If we didn't touch that lucky statue thing, we would have arrived earlier and maybe we would have gone to the back entrance right before Amy got out of the bus and we would have missed her. Or if we took another train (we could have taken a train a minute earlier or later too). Just think of everything that could have happened that would have made us miss her.

Yeah we just kept smiling. I can imagine people thought we were weird because we were just standing there, smiling and laughing. But hey they can think whatever they want.
(did you get my text this afternoon, I'm not sure if it got sent)

I am 100% trying to convince my dad to let me go to London. My mom says it's ok for her if my dad says yes.

How long did the show last? Did she do the 'normal' setlist?

I didn't look at the clock, sorry. She was planned to start at 8:45 and another act was planned to start at 10, so it must have been about an hour and 15 minutes.
I think she had the same setlist as the other gigs, we tried hard to get a copy of the setlist but unfortunately they gave it to other people.

Thanks for uploading these pics Byron, saves me some time. ;)
