I corrected the critic on her ignorance of song titles.

Twelve months ago Amy Winehouse annoyed an entire country by pulling out of T in the Park to spend the evening in her London local. Last night all was forgiven from the moment the temperamental 24-year-old sprinted on stage on legs that looked as perilously thin as her heels were high. Was she worth a year’s wait? Probably not, although Winehouse-watching is a fascinating business and her Northern soul backing band was superb. Glugging back one long drink after another, the singer seemed to concentrate so hard on swivelling her hips or tugging down her red shorts that she barely bothered with her vocals, mumbling through the opener Addicted, then wailing a downbeat Just Friends, for which she absent-mindedly strummed a guitar.

Tears Dry on their Own started a singalong, but as Winehouse wobbled on Cupid and slurred Wake up Alone as an ode to her husband – “He’s out in a week today,” she cried – disaster seemed to hover on the horizon. Then, slowly, the terrified child became a confident performer once again. Hey Little Rich Girl was good; I Cheated Myself almost great. When Winehouse lay back on the drum riser, whipped her microphone lead and laughed, she looked terrific, not troubled. Rehab and her set-closer, Valerie, were the highlights, despite lacking the all-important high notes. Far from a vintage performance then, but at least she left the stage smiling.

Really though, if you can't even get the song titles right your opinions doesn't hold much value IMO.

I agree. I think if they don't know enough to know the songs titles, then they are just sheep following the story format of the tabs to look as if they are "with it"

And can anyone remember Rehab & Valerie having any "all-important high notes"?
She's reinforcing the stereotype of the "bloody twit". Not that the UK has more bloody twits than anyplace else, it just seems more of them go into media.

Yeah, they have to get any job, just enough to pay their own drug habits.

I like this review from Gossip Girls. I quite like this site - it's not as bitchy as some, imo.

Amy Winehouse Turns Over a New Leaf

Gone are the days of showing up hours late to gigs and stumbling through set lists incoherently! Amy Winehouse spent the weekend redeeming herself as one of the UK’s top female performers.

The “Rehab” singer delighted fans at Ireland’s Oxygen festival by showing up just a few minutes past her scheduled stage time before nailing her entire performance. She even dedicated “Wake Up Alone” to her incarcerated hubby Blake Fielder-Civil.

Amy told the audience, “This one’s for Blakey. He’s out in nine days.” Perhaps the fact that she’ll be reunited with her husband has brought new life into the troubled singer.

The next day, Winehouse showed up as scheduled at Scotland’s T in the Park festival, once again delivering a grade-A performance. She also reaffirmed that her man was coming home soon before finishing off her 14-song set with a rousing rendition of “Valerie.”

'Nailing her entire performance' and 'Grade A Performance? - that'll do it for me!

Amy Macdonald: Winehouse needs to quit industry for her own sake

Jul 14 2008
AMY Macdonald has called on Amy Winehouse to quit the music business - fearing the troubled star might die otherwise.
Macdonald said industry bosses are exploiting the Rehab star by getting her to play festivals across the UK this summer.
Amy wants Winehouse to take a year off for the sake of her heath.

Macdonald said: "I think it is a really bad idea Amy Winehouse coming here and playing things like this in the state she is in.
"I wish she could just go away and get better."

Macdonald, best known for her No1 album This Is The Life and hits such as Poison Pen, about drug addict Pete Doherty, added: "No matter how important Amy Winehouse is being told her career is, it is nothing compared with her health.
"She should forget about all this rubbish just now.

"People are waiting for her to die, which is terrible. It seems nobody cares for her.
"She should take a year out. Her people are saying it is her choice, but she is being used because the more she is in the papers, the more albums she sells.
"She is going off her head and people love it.

"She should go away and rest for a while.
"I feel sorry for her. Music is a big part of everyone's life, but it is nothing compared with your welfare so she shouldn't bother about this."
But Macdonald, who played the main stage at the weekend, admitted she wasn't a shining example of sobriety herself.

The Glaswegian was camping at the site and got so drunk that she fell asleep in her tent on Saturday evening and missed the night's headliners.

OK, so apparently this Amy MacDonald chick got so drunk thats she fell asleep and missed the night's headliners? OK, Miss MacDonald, time to take a look at yourself before lecturing others, methinks. What an arse.

what a twat. she wishes amy would go away because she knows with amy on the scene theres no room for any female to get close to her musical ability. which means 'amy twatdonald' will never be as good as amy winehouse.. grrr. if she cared about her she would of dedicated a song to her like the zutons did. i think amy is old enough and expirenced enough to decide what paths to take career wise
