I've never heard them before, thanks! It sounds like the very first part of the frank era, a bit too pop for me, not my favourite really, but i don't know. Although the swing part in the second track is good.
Do you know who this Ian Barter is?

Thanks for posting. In the absence of any new releases it's great to have some Amy music we've not heard before. Experimental Frank phase, clearly- I'm certainly gonna listen to "when my eyes" a few times- the phrasing and the vocal range we love are there.

thanks so much. how did you find these?? I agree with mr black, When My Eyes is the more interesting of the two, though both are so different. Kinda fun to hear her say "mosheeno" again, and where did we hear "waitress on skates" before??? Lucky winner gets a prize...
Ian has a website http://www.eaglemusi...ductions.co.uk/ where he lists two "tracks" attributed to Amy Winehouse...Lucky Trainers and Jewel. Damn if i can get 'em to stream. Anyone know about these??

Wow. Thanks for these.

Kev, did you see the comment at the very very bottom of the page:

"Flash player 8 is required to view this site download here"

Maybe that will help. I would love to stay up and try, but I've got to get to sleep now. Good luck....and, of course, let us know if you were successful.

"Waitress on skates in training" was fun to hear.

I think this song has A LOT of interesting lyrics. Can't make them all out yet, though.

gnite all.

On her DVD, Mitch says Amy's ambition at one time was to be a rollerskating waitress.

I like "When my eyes". It sounds very early. But there are some great passages, for example 1:02 - 1:28 is thrilling. Gives me that soaring feeling that only Amy can. She had that ability from the beginning...
