i read somewhere, she liked Chanel No.5, but i don't know, if it really was her favorite fraquance, or if she used it all the time. It's just a well known, hig Quality perfume, soi don't know.

If you ask anyone who knew Amy she wore VERY SWEET smelling perfumes---sickeningly sweet. I've asked her family and friends and the only one who says its Chanel is Sam Shaker....
I was told it was one that isn't made anymore--Laura Mercier Chocolate Truffle.

If you watch "Sex and the City' you will notice where Amy got much of her inspiration. The similarities between SJP and AW's clothes are countless.

They all have a lot to say. You'd have to be a bit more specific about what you'd want to know.

Ok. Here come the answers.

Her favorite foods--according to her bandmates she always had to have a nicoise salad.
If you don't know it's mixed greens, green beans, boiled potatoes, hard boiled egg, and seared ahi tuna on top.
It was a "must have" at every gig she played.

She loved Jamon Jamon in Camden- Tapas
Balans in Soho- eclectic menu
Royal Catch---fish and chip shop that has since closed in Camden
The Twins Coffee shop in Camden- she would pop in there for a bacon butty. Also Royal Café around the corner

I could probably name a billion places she liked but these stood out to me. Some people have said Amy was a great cook-her family would beg to differ.

Her favorite clothing places weren't in Camden but in Soho. Her father made it very clear to me that she loved Camden but always made it a point to go shopping around Soho and get to know all of the shop owners.
Her favorite store was American Apparel. She loved all things "American/Americana" and would frequent the store for her trademark tank tops/wifebeaters/vests--whatever you call them where you are from.

Her make up at home was all drug store bought--I'd imagine she would pick up items here and there that were nicer but I know she simply bought most her makeup--yes eyeliner from Superdrug or Boots.

We all know she loved her Reebok princess trainers. Hmmm.

What else should we talk about? I feel badly since this is the clothing thread on the forum

Thank you so much! I love American apparel as well, it's either a hit or miss in that store. But they have the perfect staple tees. A bit expensive though. She had good taste. Can't wait to go to London to try out some of those places she ate at!

I really don't think she had "good taste".. she had just no style, but it worked really well, and she looked really rock'n'roll.

I personally think American Apparel is a rip off yet I own a shirt or two from them.....

I couldn't pin point a favorite for her but according to her dad she loved the Mango Room in Camden for her Jamaican food. I've been there on several occasions and thought it was good.
