Elena, that's an American slang. Means 'addiction', or 'intense love'.

Some of the old heads in here probably remember that song.
OT: There's too much speculation and wishful thinking about the marriage. I think folks should stay out of it and let the kids work it out. Granted, it was assaholic of Winehouse to get a smack the paps, due to her lashing out, but she's withdrawing and her body is going thru holy hell right now.
Imagine have (probable) intense headaches, you're shaky, trembling, feels like ants are crawling inside of you and noise makes you jump out of your skin. NOW, add a group of folks screaming your name and flashing lights are in your face.
That being said, I don't understand why in the hell won't Winehouse's management call the cops to acquire some sort of legalized perimeter or boundary against the paps, around Winehouse's home. I KNOW other wealthy British stars living in London have this.

True dat, DClip. It's a shame, it's all about the money. The more 'antics' she causes, the more popular she becomes, the more records are sold. It's disgusting. It's like pimps putting out their 'girls'. These ladies are usually psychically, physically, and mentally beaten down, but they are expected to 'make that money'. That's why I call Winehouse's management "pimps".

Unfortunately, I have to agree. But I mean one good thing is Amy's father is around. I have never seen a celebrity who's parent(s) was involved in their lives. I think it it wasn't for Mitch, Amy might have just lost it by now.

Winehouse asked family members to speak to a solicitor — hours after her hubby’s release from prison.
The singer is afraid over the money Fielder-Civil will get from her estimated 10 million pounds fortune.
The latest twist in the couple’s 18-month marriage came just hours after Fielder-Civil asked Winehouse to pay his 30,000 pounds rehab fees. And after he said: “I am gonna see my wife and take her knickers down.”
Winehouse now refuses to see him while he is in rehab at the Life Works centre in Woking, Surrey. “The family saw a solicitor this week. Amy fears Blake’s just after her money,” News of the World quoted a source, as saying.
