According to O Globo newspaper, Amy has renounced the traditional Rio de Janeiro's five-star hotels, where international stars stay when they come to Rio, to stay in the neighborhood of Santa Tereza and get to know the hype of the city. They report she already requested information about the region and would like to know this bohemian neighborhood of Rio.

I hope this goes well. I'm really nervous about it - is she ready for an arena gig? For any gig? I think she must be, otherwise, why would her management have booked these shows? Her voice must be in good shape - surely they wouldn't put her through this if she wasn't ready?

She must be physically and mentally fit, too. I bloody well hope so. I feel like this is her last chance. I hope and pray it goes well for her. Good luck, Amy xxx

Sure hope she doesn't disappoint her passionately-in-love-with-her Brasilian (Brazilian?) fans...and the rest of us, of course

Unless Amy recognizes how important these shows are to her future, I think there will be problems. How big those problems are depends on how much liquor she drinks.
I guess I've about lost hope on her performing live. If I lived in Brazil, I wouldn't have bought a ticket.
Obviously, I hope I'm dead wrong.
