Had she not fallen, it would have been a funny bit. I sense a Gilda Radner/Imogene Coca style of comedy in her.

I would love to see her work a little stand-up routine into her act. Methinks there's a comedienne lurking beneath the surface.

^Few women have made me laugh as much as Amy. Honestly. There have been so many videos (Buzzcocks, Monkey Island, etc.). Of course, not so much during her troubled time, but now we are seeing the real Amy come back.

And her dead-pan delivery in some of her earlier interviews. She's got a sharp, yet off-beat sense of humour. I get it. Wish more people could see that side of her, as we do.

She's only scratched the surface of what she's capable of. We've seen glimpses of it. There's a depth to her that hasn't been fully realised.

Think I'll stick around & see how she evolves.

I think putting together five shows in a row, looking healthy and sounding great, is a significant sign of progress. I hope Kyla stayed long enough to find some of her great performances, and didn't go away depressed by a thread devoted to a Rupert Murdoch trash tabloid headline about a video that was already posted here five days ago.

One of the things that made me like Amy was her sense of humour. That NMTB episode was hilarious!! I made my friends watch is so many times!

I don't see anything wrong with that video... apart from the dress... but we won't go there again.

A lot of performers bust their asses on stage. Fall into orchestra pits, trip over something. Models get paid big $$$ and you see them fall quite often. All they have to do is walk and look good doing it but whoops.
I think Amy was trying a little spin and lost her balance. I don't see how women even stand up in heels as far as that goes.
Out of 5 successful shows she slips once? I give her the benefit of the doubt.

I think the question of whether she has conquered her demons is not related to her falling on stage. Personally I think she still has a lot of conquering to do, but I can't say that she hasn't come a long way in the last few of years. She looks a lot healthier and is able to complete a tour without cancellations or major incidents. From what I've heard her voice sounds great. Does she still have a drinking problem? My bet is most certainly yes, plus some underlying mental health issues. Neither are easy to conquer. Recovery is a slow and difficult process.

Major bummer for me. I haven't seen Emi in a while either. Definitely some of the best, most active and interesting people here. It's depressing.

I'm not sure why people are upset, I thought this was a friendly argument :'-( can't we all be friends? Sorry if I'm putting my foot in it or overstepping my boundaries as a noob, I didn't mean to.

Me too.

If we all had the same opinion, we'd get bored.

I think a friendly exchange of differing opinions is interesting.

If we never allowed a dissenting opinion, we would never think of things in a different way.

I would not like to see a situation where the first person to post an opinion about something is the only opinion we get to read...I like to see other opinions expressed afterwards..of course, always in a respectful manner...sometimes this can lead to the most interesting debates and discussions (not arguments...)

btw...it was a full moon yesterday!!!:-S

I was right(it happens occasionally). Jimmy Buffet busted his ass yesterday when he fell off the stage. Luckily he's okay.
