Teach Me Tonight - my all time favourite. Although I didn't really like a lot of her performances in the Frank era - I adore the album, but the overly aggressive tone she added to her voice very often grated on my nerves - I think this one is really powerful;

And this one I wish I could see the entire concert, this was Amy at her best :'-(

Elsie, 'Teach me tonight' is how I discovered Amy. that will always be a treasure for me. she sooo nailed that song. again, she could do a cover like no other and put such a fresh spin on it. I remember sitting here in total awe with my mouth wide open.

That is a great way to be introduced to her... :) I agree, she made every song her own. Ignoring a few strange renditions of Rudy, everything she covered sounded amazing.

that is one of my favs and have had it favored on my page to watch now and again. I loved her dress that night too. I actually loved this live version a bit better than the recorded version she did with Paul.

Seen it before, really hitting me hard this time. Bawling my eyes out, but loving her voice.

Thanks for posting

Here is one of my all time favs. It just sounds so pure...just a guitar, a bass, and her powerful voice. So beautiful

If I could have been at any gig, it would have been the Zenith in Paris. I have good quality amateur footage of all the songs from this gig and I've honestly never heard her sound better. From 29th October 07 as well, so supposedly when she shouldn't have been gigging. It was when she sang Donny Hathaway's We're Still Friends (which I'm sure you've seen) and a totally sublime Unholy War:

Seriously watch this if you haven't already. I personally downloaded all the recordings made by this girl at the gig for fear of her one day taking them down.

Man I wish I had the audio for this gig, or could get it copied to CD.
I dont have a laptop and I can only view certain videos on youtube on my mobile, there were loads on there and an amazing Cupid performance. I cant seem to view it anymore.
Me and Mr Jones at that gig was amazing to.
In fact some of the best performances of Amy to me are towards the end of 2007, although as the months went by she seems to get deeper into hell! The first Brixton gig was amazing, there is a clip on Youtube of Back to Black, filmed from a distance with not that good sound but her vocals are wicked, I have watched that so many times.
Also when I saw her at the ICA for the Itunes festival, she blew everyone away with that show, everyone......
Most of the I Heard Love is Blinds from that period are great also, there is one in Milan and Blackpool, great vocals!:)
Once is enough to make me attack!
