I find the pics very worrying, not just the white powder but also the burnt/injured finger. Don't want to jump to conclusions, but it's enough to start a sinking feeling in my stomach. I think she's going through tremendous turmoil over Blake. Maybe that triggered a relapse.

Well. Her fingers looked scabbed like they were when she was shotting up through her knuckles before.

And once Janis is gone, it's done.

Troubled Amy Winehouse has answered a call from the jungle.

I'm A Celebrity star David Gest has been looking after the fragile singer since she arrived back from St Lucia.

When Amy's shameless ex-hubby Blake poured his sorry heart out about Amy at the weekend, David was first on the phone to check she was OK.

He even planned a night out to the pub to cheer her up - although that didn't work out as well as he'd hoped.

A pal said: "David moved into the area a while ago and was introduced to Amy through their mutual mate Matt Willis.

"Then he kept bumping into Amy and they kept in touch.

"When he heard she was back from St Lucia and Blake had been spouting off about her again he invited her on a night out so that she wouldn't stay at home alone feeling depressed."

Well, we can confirm she wasn't at home alone feeling depressed - she was depressed down the pub with David instead.

We're told: "A few drinks did nothing to cheer her and she ended up sobbing her eyes out in the pub.

"She was inconsolable. "David put his arm around her to try and soothe her. But she was still crying when they decided to call it a night and get her a cab."

On Tuesday night David invited Wino round to his house for dinner - and the singer was feeling a lot more positive.

A pal added: "David has been a support to Amy through a low point."

Could this be the start of something truly special? Your Gest is as good as ours.

Worrying pics, indeed. Umm...but the powder? Looks like glitter lip gloss gone wrong to me...LMAO. Fuck it it`s like what i saw in my dream last night...UGHH! I somehow sensed something NOT positive was about to happen.
I just hope this is true:

Maybe this is just how our girl is. She is made to cause a scene! In all seriousness though, she could have had a drink or a few, and was crying. She just got divorced and this is one of the worst events a person can go through in life. The media has to cut her some slack, but of course, they've got papers to sell.
Take care all.

It's very very sad. Is this the same David Gest that married Liza Minnelli? How did they meet?

After a good night's sleep and another look, I think I agree with Alan; it's snot reflecting in the light.

Still not great, but better snot than marching powder, eh? :)

She's still in my prayers.

David Gest is worrying as he had a seriously scary relationship with Liza Minelli.
Could be white powder, could be light reflecting on what looks like a sweaty/teary face. Noping she's not back abusing, but as have said many times before, she's a grown woman who makes her own choices and there is nothing that us worrying etc can do about that

Not going to worry about Amy. I know she's going to die, just like all of us.

At 29, Hank Williams, died 'worn out.' Over a thousand songs written, 300m published.

He was a frail alcoholic junkie. Shooting B12 and morphine on the way to gigs.

He drew this praise from 2 elite songwriters. I'd say the best of our time.

"When I wrote about Hank Williams 'A hundred floors above me in the tower of song', it's not some kind of inverse modesty. I know where Hank Williams stands in the history of popular song. 'Your Cheatin' Heart', songs like that, are sublime, in his own tradition, and I feel myself a very minor writer."[17] — Leonard Cohen

"I became aware that in Hank's recorded songs were the archetype rules of poetic songwriting. The architectural forms are like marble pillars and they had to be there. Even his words - all of the syllables are divided up so they make perfect mathematical sense. You can learn alot about the structure of songwriting by listening to his records." — Bob Dylan

I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry

Words and music by Hank Williams

Hear that lonesome whippoorwill
He sounds too blue to fly
The midnight train is whining low
I'm so lonesome I could cry

I've never seen a night so long
When time goes crawling by
The moon just went behind a cloud
To hide its face and cry

Did you ever see a robin weep
When leaves began to die?
That means he's lost the will to live
I'm so lonesome I could cry

The silence of a falling star
Lights up a purple sky
And as I wonder where you are
I'm so lonesome I could cry

The last verse gives me chills. The year I was born was the year Hank died.

Why Hank on this Amy thread? Can we not read? Can we not bleed?

God bless her sad little face, that picture is so upsetting she looks like a cute little child that you just want to cuddle.
it does look like white powder but it could be other things, if it is white powder, really who were we kidding thinking amy would NEVER touch coke again, shes a recovering drug addict, they have relapses. and as for these people 'holding her up' she looks like shes walking on her own in that picture? she doesnt look fucked off her face on drugs she looks upset. if shes had a relapse its all we could expect things wont get better over night and im supprised that she hasnt had one sooner been back in london, i think shes doing pretty well and the papers/public have to cut her some slack , after all shes only human, a human with alot of problems, going through divorce and addiction in the public eye. if she REALLY WANTS to get better, she will!

Maybe this is just how our girl is. She is made to cause a scene!

I know this is nit-picky, but I hate when people say shit like this. Just because someone's personality is more addiction prone or someone has mental health issues does NOT mean it's an excuse for drug use and acting out the way Amy does, and it certainly doesn't mean everyone should turn a blind eye! If anything, they should realise even more that she needs help. I'm sorry, but even though she was doing better in St. Lucia, she's not in St. Lucia anymore. She's in London, and around every turn, there are drugs everywhere, "friends" who encourage that drug use and get the drugs to her, and lots of emotional baggage as well, which makes those first two options sound mighty good.

For all Mitch's good intentions, his and Janis's approach of "She'll hit rock bottom, she'll come to us for help" is entirely misinformed and frankly, they're complicit in Amy's behaviour. She's going to continue to slowly kill herself, and they're going to sit around waiting for her to ask them to save her.

I know music is incredibly important to Amy, but the "industry" that surrounds it-- which Amy is intent on entering head-first again-- is a stressful place, full of temptations and the complete availability of (and permissiveness in regards to) all the shit that will ultimately keep her from doing well.

I know that no one wants to be the bad guy- no one wants to risk Amy hating them or cutting them out of her life, but cmon-- someone's gotta do it.

they arent been irresponsible in doing this, amy is their daughter she means everything in the world to them if they COULD help they would but for a drug/alcohol addiction you CANT help the person unless they want to help THEMSELF, you have to wait till they ask for help otherwise they wont do anything about it, amy speaks alot of truth in her lyrics.
'I cant help you, if you wont, help yourself.'

Amy is under a lot of pressure right now...and she has been trhough a lot since she came back to London...I mean...divorcing from "Blhake", new album coming out, public eye, tabloids, family... but i don't know if that's excuse material for an inteligent girl like her, she knows what she wants but something is stoping her to think clearly....I'll just wait for more info.
If she did it...if she did touch the mothafuckin coke, I'll think "Stupid Amy", but that will not solve anything...it depends on her...she is responsable of her own actions and is able to turn all this around for good...I believe in her, and something tells me that she'll be okay, besides all the stuff that's happening right now..
Peace

I'm not saying that Amy's parents don't love her-- I would never, because I'm not that arrogant and I know that's not the case. What I am saying is that you have to make someone WANT to do it. They have to REALLY see how much they have to lose if they don't get themselves together. I mean, sure, Amy's career isn't the best right now, and her relationship with Blake disbanded, but does she truly realise that it happened because of the drugs? Does she realize that she can't have both things-- music and drugs, family and drugs, good friends and drugs, etc? Of course someone has to want to help themselves. But there's no reason the people close to her can't make helping herself seem like a much better alternative to whatever they propose.

If nothing else, Amy should at least be in some mandatory intense therapy, because she's not herself and she's not seeing clearly.
