Amy Winehouse should release her third album by 2010, her record label has confirmed.
Island Records co-president Darcus Beese said that the 26-year-old has been recording the follow-up to the acclaimed 'Back To Black' in “fits and starts” but it should come into fruition next year.
He tells the BBC: "I've heard a couple of song demos that absolutely floored me. Hopefully we'll have her album next year."
Wino of course has had a turbulent time of it since the release of 'Back To Black', becoming a high profile media figure cursed with drug addictions, erratic behaviour and poor health.
As previously reported, Winehouse will make her TV return this coming Saturday on Strictly Come Dancing where she will provide backing vocals for her goddaughter Dionne Bromfield.

I think they dont push her, cos the only thing artists need is space and outta that space you can drive whatever way you want,
you can drive left or right or make a stop or drive 2 ways the same time,
just let there be enough space and your creativity will sent you out of this world...

When I first found out about Frank I thought that was "ages ago" compared to Back To Black but the gap between that and the third album is going to be bigger than that now. I was kind of hoping for a December-time release but fingers crossed it will be sooner rather than later in 2010!!

Tell you what, the amount of songs Amy's not released/got on B-Side, be amazing if she released them on an album. No Doubt did that a few years after The Singles collection.
Be nice as a teaser, maybe an eight-track promo album kinda thing... be nice.
But omg, new Wino songs - next year? So looking forward to it, hope they are fantastic, hope the album goes well and I hope her singles do well too, be nice for her to have a confidence boost and get back in the game and put all the shit behind her.
