The father of singer Amy Winehouse is to give evidence to a government committee about the cocaine trade. Mitch Winehouse is to appear at the third evidence session in the home affairs committee's inquiry into sales and uses of the drug.
Winehouse, a former taxi driver, has spoken openly in the press about his Grammy-winning daughter's struggles with substance abuse. He will face MPs at the Palace of Westminster on Thursday October 20th, it was announced today.
"As part of our investigation into the cocaine trade we want to explore the human cost of drug taking, particularly on users and their families," said the committee's chairman, MP Keith Vaz. "Therefore today we are taking evidence about the first-hand effects of drug use.
"We are particularly pleased that Mitch Winehouse, the father of Amy, has agreed to share with us research for a current documentary on the damaging effects of drug abuse on families, and of the effectiveness of drug rehabilitation."
Mr Vaz said the committee would also hear from former cocaine user and drug counsellor Sarah Graham. Amy Winehouse last weekend appeared on BBC1's Strictly Come Dancing, singing backing vocals for her teenage goddaughter Dionne Bromfield.

Now, not only does her FB relationship status say "Married", it says "Married to Blake Civil".
And her current FB message:
i saw that. weird. would anyone here admit the person she's/he's married to is hot and heavy for a lap dancer? looks like she didn't like what a few said either, deleted and blocked them. hmmm

I couldn't help but express my discontent with A. and B. wanting to repair what perhaps shouldn't even be there. However, Amy being Amy, maybe everything will be alright, eventually. Who knows?
