I hear music video assistants are very highly compensated. Don't know if it's true, but I heard that.
I have no idea what being a 'music video assistant' entails, but clearly, it leads one to afford a sizeable ring from one of the world's foremost jewellers, so there you go.
sorry, i did have a spell of negativity there didn't I/
i have a friend who is an assistant, and your salary really depends on what you're assisting with....he's in post production and makes major bucks, when he gets work.

sure it is...lots of laughs. I'm with you Sarah, give me news about the music. This business seems a bit juvenile to me.

Who cares, really? Amy likes to play games with the media - hence: the on-off, on-off ring-wearing scenario. Today, Dionne says it's BS. Tomorrow, it won't be BS. Just a game.
Let them get on with it. What will be, will be.
It's a game, it's attention, it's boring and it's getting old. Winehouse, please stop taking your fans for granted..............

Amy Winehouse is reportedly too distracted by her ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil to sing.
The 'Rehab' singer has reportedly been grounded by her management team until 2010 so she can focus on finishing her new album, the follow-up to the acclaimed 'Back to Black' which came out in 2006.
A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Amy was moaning to pals about how it was a nightmare trying to concentrate - every time she started she hit stumbling blocks because Blake was always on her mind.
"She is now banned from heavy nights out and is obliged to work in the studio for a certain number of hours a day. She'll also have to follow a strict daily routine and be monitored to make sure she is sleeping and eating well."
It was reported over the weekend that Amy had asked her ex-husband to marry her again. The 'Rehab' singer reportedly told Blake she was planning to wear her engagement ring again and the reconciled couple are now allegedly planning a wedding to take place in three months.
Blake told a friend: "We both know we've only ever been divorced on paper. This is the right thing to do. This is the real deal. She told me she wanted to get married again. I feel so happy."

Amy Winehouse's father is making Blake Fielder-Civil sign a pre-nuptial agreement before they remarry.
Mitch Winehouse is insisting ex-convict Blake - whose divorce from the 'Rehab' singer was finalised at the end of August - signs the agreement to prove he is not after his daughter's money when they tie the knot for the second time.
Mitch said: "Blake won't get a single penny."
A friend explained further: "Mitch has seen a solicitor. He is doing everything he can to protect his daughter. He thinks Blake brings nothing but heartache." 'Back to Black' singer Amy is said to have recently asked Blake, who has previously been accused of leading Amy into drug addiction, to remarry her and they have both changed their status on their profiles on website Facebook to married.
Meanwhile, Amy - who recently had a breast enlargement operation - has splashed out on a range of racy underwear and a diamante encrusted whip at a London shop last weekend, to celebrate getting engaged again.

"Meanwhile, Georgette's marriage with her son's stepfather Giles has disintegrated as his, it seems, is on the mend.
Explaining the reason for she and her husband's separation, she said:
'He (Giles) feels I am consumed with Blake...and Blake's problems. When Amy and Blake got back together again it was the final straw for Giles. He saw it as a nightmare that would never end.'"

Amy Winehouse is not going to remarry Blake Fielder-Civil, according to her goddaughter Dionne Bromfield.
Dionne Bromfield, 13, insists reports the 'Rehab' singer is going to rekindle her romance with her ex-husband are false and she is adamant Amy has never been happier being single.
"Don't listen to talk of Amy getting remarried to Blake - it's a lie. She is happy without him."
It was claimed the 26-year-old pop star's father Mitch was organising a pre-nuptial agreement so Blake, 31, wouldn't be able to get a penny of Amy's money if they do tie the knot for a second time.

Thanks for that, Dionne, and the tweet! Amy seems to have found the ideal spokesperson! B.t.w.: as long as the "One ring to rule them all and in darkness bind them" isn't among it, she should wear as much bling as she likes.
