Can this possibly be true? If it is, I need a drink.

DRUG-ravaged AMY WINEHOUSE was facing a police probe last night for allegedly kicking a theatre manager in the groin - after hurling four-letter abuse at PANTO stars.

OH YES SHE DID! Parents and kids were shocked as the singer - in the audience for a performance of Cinderella - heckled the cast and kept shouting: "He's f***ing behind you" during the show.

OH NO SHE DIDN'T! Wrecked Amy would not sit down as she blocked the view of families by standing up in the stalls and walking along rows.

OH YES SHE DID! She called out for more than half an hour in the first act, yelling: "F*** Cinders, Prince Charming, marry me" and branding the Ugly Sisters "bitches".

OH NO SHE DIDN'T! She refused to be ushered to a box after the interval and allegedly launched herself at front-of-house manager Richard Pound - allegedly pulling his hair, punching him and kicking him between the legs.

Furious

At that point two minders who arrived with Amy, 26, carried her out of the theatre in Milton Keynes, Bucks.

But angry Richard, 27, decided to involve police, who are investigating.

Amy's outbursts exasperated panto stars ANTHEA TURNER, playing the Fairy Godmother, BOBBY DAVRO (Buttons), MICKEY ROONEY (Baron Hardup), LOUISE DEARMAN (Cinderella) and CHRIS DENNIS and DAVID LANGHAM (Ugly Sisters).

Her car-crash performance came just three days after her ex BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL said both he and the Back To Black singer were off drugs and planned to remarry.

Amy went to the show to see pal ANTHONY KAVANAGH - a reality TV star standing in as Prince Charming for regular BEN ADAMS, of boyband A1.

A backstage source said: "Anthony brought Amy to impress the cast with his showbiz connections. But it backfired badly."

The source added Amy was "like a demonic child" and made kids in the 1,400-strong audience cry.

She also upset Anthea when they met during the interval.

The source said: "She was so spaced out and told Anthea, 'I love you, Anthea, sticky-back plastic, I love you.' It got worse because Amy had a cut on her wrist and bled all over Anthea."

Thames Valley Police confirmed they are probing an assault claim but said no arrest had been made.

if this is true she has zero class, manners, or self respect. at this point who cares anymore? she ruined everything she had going for her and at this point i don't think she'll ever really get it back entirely.

Hopefully a pile of bullshit.

If not, this is the part of everything that surrounds her that I dislike the most. It ashames me as it's unexcusable.

Never heard of Streisand kicking some bloke in the nuts. Ah, civility.

This may not be true but it doesn't surprise me if it is.

How could anyone be shocked?

I agree, Sofia.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is some truth to this story. The details may not be as outrageous as The Sun claims, but I believe the gist of it. I'm afraid the hard core drug taking has taken its toll, and it scares me to think that might be the case.

I can't be angry at her - I believe she doesn't know what she is doing, which is just sad.

Hope it's BS, not surprisd a bit if it is not; how coincidental that this should happen days after Blake the fake announces they're back on.

So pissed already she is behaving like a moron?

Sory, but if she cannot see that this is a co-dependancy and not a relationship, I'm done with it all.

Like Dionne and so many others, I have bitten my tongue, but this is too much.

Grow up, Amy. You don't look big and clever, you look a joke.

Ah, civility.

That's what you get when you hang out with Civils!
If the kicking is true, I hope it was because the guy tried to lay hands on her. and she can claim self-defense. There has to be a lot of exaggeration because it seems unlikely any theater company would allow a whole show to be so disrupted. They would stop the show until she left or was removed.
She got the wake up call for drugs - hope she gets this one for alcohol.

As much as it drives me crazy that Mitch twitters and talks to the press so much, I really feel for him right now. His comment scares me. I wonder if it means he's going to try to get her into rehab?

Yeah, Alan - I was thinking the same thing about Mickey Rooney!!!! Ha Ha!

I don't post here much these days as my patience with Ms Winehouse is wearing very thin. But after the twitters over the past few days this latest episode does not surprise me.

I think people surrounding her need to get tough now and she needs to be held responsible for her actions. I hope she doesn't once again 'get away' with ANOTHER assault charge. I'm not necessarily meaning she needs to be imprisioned but I would give her a long term of community service maybe for an organisation like shelter. It may make her realise how much she could have by working with people who have very little.

I also think it's about time her recording contract gets terminated, let's face it for two years she's done nothing and I seriously doubt there is another album to be released next year?

I am also worried about Mitch's latest twitters and I feel for him, trying to be a father and continously defending Amy must be hard. It annoys me that she so publicly takes digs at her family via twitter and then cries out for people to help her? Haven't her family been trying to help her for years? I felt for Dionne the other night again this should not be done on a public forum as it is handing the press the stories, and then she complains about press intrusion, you can't have it both ways?

This is from someone who allegedly wants to have children, she needs to do some growing up herself first, she can't even take care of herself never mind a child.

I've noticed that Milton Keynes press have run with the story and asking for members of the audience to contact them. I do think the Sun have embellished the story as this was supposed to happen on Saturday night and I cannot find anything from members of the audience on any websites?

Sorry is my post offends it how I feel.

yeah sure im use to it, but i thought she would get over it once she's clean.
i feel a shame of her.

Edit: Most young girls (young women) are at Amy's age very mature and smart.

Agreed, Lainey; I really feel for Mitch. The poor man has panic attacks over her behaviour. Some hannukah they're gonna have with Fake around again and police now too.

I want to give him a hug.

Surely Island will drop her if no 3rd album comes in 2010? She is becoming a liability.

She is treating them very poorly, and being very selfish. At 26, she shouold be more grown up and taking responsibility for herself. I have been where she is, but I find it hard ti sympathise with someone who clearly does not want to helf herself and treats it like everyone else's problem.

If I was Mitch... it's be intervention/sectioning time for me... I can't see anything else resolving this ongoing debacle.
