Did Amy date NAS??

On this Popworld video, Amy clearly talks about her boyfriend sharing the same birthdate as her...and as we know NAS was born on the same day (2:36 in the video).



Was she talking about NAS then? Was this before she got back together with Blake? When did she break up with Alex Claire?

Does anyone know when this video was shot? It looks around the same time that she appeared on Jools Holland with Paul Weller maybe?...

(PS. I think she looks beautiful in this interview!)

She has to be talking about Alex. I doubt it was Nas because he admitted that although they were friends he still did not get the chance to know her that well.

Like he said most of the time they spoke was through texting, talking on the phone, and skype.

They didn't meet until that one time in London

Yeah, I don't believe they ever dated. Blake was born in January, I believe. So, I'm assuming she's talking about Alex.

Since they were talking about "the new single", I think this was around January of 2007.

Nas was married to Kelis until 2009. She was probably talking about Alex.

Same here! I didn't think he was born in september... but then I couldn't understand why she was talking about Nas as I thought she went out with Alex right up until she left him for Blake...

Damn it, I can't find any information on Alex Clare's date of birth, but I struggle to believe that he also shared her birthday...too many coincidences...
Then again, as this boyfriend once said to Amy, when he burst her bubble, it's nothing special, "lots of people have sex around Xmas and New Years...."

Exactly, thank you! She sang about her and "Mr. Jones" saying that nothing could get between her and him, so we know that she liked him.
And I know that Amy could get what she wanted, when she wanted something that badly...maybe she did date him briefly, maybe they had an affair??...

Maybe that's why she seems so surprised that the presenters know about it when she says "how did you know that?" with a look of shock on her face.

i think the guy she is thinking about when she gets busted is NAS

because he is a celebrity, etc and wanted to protect both of them
who cares about alex? he wasn't famous, and amy didnt care much about opening up her mind!!!
in fact, this is about the only time or two that i find her a little "shady"

"In My Bed" is a song by English recording artist Amy Winehouse from her debut album, Frank (2003). It was released on 5 April 2004 as the album's third single (double A-sided with "You Sent Me Flying"), reaching number sixty on the UK Singles Chart.
"In My Bed" uses almost the same beat as rapper Nas's 2003 hit single "Made You Look" (which in turn contains a sample of the Incredible Bongo Band's 1973 cover of "Apache"). Both songs were produced by Salaam Remi.

The music video, directed by Paul Gore, begins with Winehouse in a hotel saying goodnight to a young man, presumably her boyfriend, leaving him to his room. Upon their parting Winehouse begins the song as she walks through the hotel. She is then seen in the hotel ballroom for a short segment performing the chorus of the song onstage with a backing band. Winehouse then goes upstairs to her own room while carrying a guitar case. Upon entering her room she takes a seat on her bed and waits as an unidentified man enters the room and they embrace. The video ends with Winehouse covering the camera with her hand as she prepares to commit infidelity.
