Found earlier discarded in a draw at "Sony" (Acoustic set Amy Aged 19)_ V. High Quality Master copy recorded the week before her 20th Birthday_ press release party possibly ? Very few people in the room, you can hear a pin drop! Very intimate atmosphere........

This is actually Amy's Whitfield Street Studio Session, if you look at the backside of the CD insert you can see it was made at Whitfield ...




It was recorded on September 5th and mastered and repackaged by Island as a promo a few days later, on September 8, 2003 ...

'Stronger Than Me' from this session was included in the iTunes 'Take the Box - EP' and has been online for a while.

Correct, A colleague of our's listed it on EbAY & the winning bid was £255 which wasn't paid. Neither our colleague wanted it or anyone else so i "took the box" (literally). . We don't plan to upload unfortunately as we don't want to devalue it by spreading it around online. To be honest the set is nothing we haven't heard before although i will say that "Best Friends" floored a couple of us here in the office. Always nice to hear Amy Acoustic, believe she also performed "Best friends" as an acoustic during the "Black to black" era & it was a bonus track ? . .The version of "Best Friends" on this 2003 set is jaw dropping. The conviction in her voice sounds like she's singing about the subject as if it only happened to her yesterday!

You shouldn't be so selfish with those tracks. But if you want to keep it for your own, do it I am sure those recording will surface one day. We wont beg for it darling.

Half tempted to include "Best Friends" as a track on a soundcloud Amy winehouse tribute mini-mix we plan on putting together, Mitch was aware of the first part of the mini-mix we uploaded a few years back. We Plan to do another mix & upload on Amy's Birthday Sept 14th.. . .

What was the point of sharing a photo of the CD and no music? The people who really want and appreciate Amy's music the most are all here on this forum, so if you were to share the music with us, the how is that "devaluing" it?

Besides, If you didn't plan on sharing the music with us, her biggest fans, then you were just better off keeping it all to yourself to begin with and not even waste time mentioning it and teasing us. It seems to me as if you're just bragging about having something that we don't.

Soundcloud just teamed up with Sony, if you upload anything from that CD onto there, they will just take it down for copyright. My point is, would it kill you to share what you have from Amy with some of her most dedicated fans, through the forum? There aren't many of us here that are active anyways, every time we hear about something "new" of Amy its always in the hands of someone who's trying to capitalize off of it instead of just sharing it with the people who appreciate the music the most. 

Will you sell it?

This is like when that other guy was being childish with that Med bar concert. This kind of thing should be regarded as TORTURE because it is most annoying! It always has to come down to money; and no one at the company wanting the cd shows how musically inept they are. Torture. aahrrrrrughhhhhh
