Hi everyone, I hope I'm posting in the right section

I'm after the Fred Perry Amy argyle jumper dress, I've found one on EBay but the logo at the front seems to be on the pink part rather than the black like Amy's

Do you know if they brought 2 releases out and one had the logo in the black and the other in the pink or am I looking at a Fake

Fred Perry did a re-issue of the dress, maybe 18 months ago.  That had the logo on the pink diamond.  It is probably a genuine Fred Perry but the more recent version.  I nearly bought one when it came out but my size sold out in a few days.

On the topic of the argyle dress, and on Amy's style in general, I am currently re-watching the entire series of Sex and the City.  I know Amy watched it (because she had the video on her bookshelf).  I haven't seen it in years, since my pre-Amy fan days.  It seems to me that Amy got a lot of style influences from the show.  For one thing, Carrie wears an argyle sweater dress very similar to Amy's in one episode.  Then there's all the exposed bras, bra straps under strapless dresses, anchor pendants, ghetto earrings, name pendants, wife beaters, little shorts with heels and many other things I can't remember now.  Also, there is an episode where Miranda says "he'll go back to her and I'll go back to ( )"  I can't remember what she says now but I think it is the name of a cable tv channel.  Anyway, i have found it very interesting to watch it in this new light.  Has anyone else noticed this?
