It's probably been said many times and discussions after discussions..
But I've read many interviews, seen a lot of films and I think I've formed an opinion about him. But now I'm curious about what other people (especially fans) think about him.

I think Janis said it quite well in a recent interview with OK! Magazine:

"I know it was about love and I don't think you can judge when it comes to love. Love does the walking and talking. I believe the relationship between Amy and Blake was intimate and genuine. Their marriage was impulsive but it was still pure. It was obviously a complicated relationship but love was at the heart of it."

Three years ago all tablois went crazy about him, so many years after her death he demanded a million or so from her estate. Tyler’s book says it all, Mitch’s book says it all. Remember the incident where he persuaded her to sing a racist song, swearing that he was not filming and then this went to the press? The facts are countless.
I wish him the best though, because he might have had a very difficult childhood.
Amy was very immature or psychologically damaged though. She should do psychotherapy. She had the responsibility for staying under this relationship
This does not mean that I do not love her, I love her very much. But we should understand what is right and what is wrong

The source of that news story was clearly Mitch so I'm not sure I believe it to be true.

There's good and bad in everyone and drugs bring out the worst in people. Tyler tells it as it was but he also describes Blake as an empathetic and caring person who looked after him when he was struggling with addiction himself. No one is one-dimensional and Mitch wasn't much better himself considering how he blabbered to the media about his daughter's personal life at every chance he got.

Amy and Blake were both very young when they got together and the concept of right and wrong easily gets blurred when there are drugs involved. Later on there was recognition from both sides that they were toxic together despite being the love of each other's life.

I think the media blamed Blake too much. He was another struggling addict. Mitch on the other hand took every chance he could to use Amy's fame

I don't think one deserves the blame more than the other. They both used Amy's fame for their own gain and being an addict doesn't excuse that.

I know the heart wants what it's wants, but I don't think their relationship should be glamorized in any way. It was toxic.

The main responsibility for Amy was on the shoulders of Amy herself. However, things may have turned out differently if she had people to REALLY help her, instead of enabling her. Her father, husband and road manager were detriments in her life. That was a really shame.
