Yeh I saw that on YouTube. I think it was from a performance she did in the States at Joe's pub (or somewhere)?

She was on the Jo Wiley show a few weeks back - that was ace, but I didn't think to try and record it until it had been pulled from the weekly archives. Drat!
I did get Radio 1's recording of her Astoria gig though, and her Valerie encore was superb. Of course.

Yeh i recorded "You Know I'm No Good" from the same show she did Valerie when it was replayed again a couple days later. I was waiting for "Valerie" tho and managed to miss it about 3 time's.:sad:

She brought the house down in Liverpool singing the Monkey Man, apparently a b-side of a Specials CD, I think there were a lot of old Mods at the gig luving the Ska sound!!

I like her cover MUCH more than the original, although the original is still good

I prefer her cover aswell. Big fan of The Zutons, but Amy's version appeals to me more.

i really liked the song whn the the zutons brought it out but it lost its appeal, i think i over played it, but once hearing amy do it on radio 1 i loved it, and liked her cover even more than the original, IMO i think her covers sound better because she adds something that no-one else really can, her voice and domineering personality

I loved it when she did Monkey Man on Jools Holland. That was ace!

she performed this last at the nottingham gig i was at, and the crowd were going mental, it's a great cover
