British singer AMY WINEHOUSE left fans bemused at a London gig on Friday (23FEB07), when she stopped singing to admit she was drunk. The REHAB star was wowing the crowd at the Brixton Academy when she paused a song to slur, "When I look at the ceiling, I'm sweating." However, the unexpected interlude left the audience baffled because the 23-year-old's vocals had been pitch-perfect all night. A fan tells British newspaper The People, "No-one knew what she was on about. But her show was so good we didn't care."
