i can't find rules, what's mximum size? and i don't understand why my chosen avatar isn't shown, i chose it from Gallery and clicked "change avatar"

I had to try it twice to make the avatar work too, maybe it will work if you try again. I've been wondering where I could find the signature sizes as well, but actually I haven't looked properly yet.

I've sometimes had trouble adding an avatar to my profile on other forums before. Try deleting your cookies and/or internet history. This usually does the trick. The rules and guidelines can be found using the links under the banner. You see where it says 'Search', 'Memberlist', 'Calendar' etc... Ok thanks. So 500 x 200 for the signatures. That's not the size I'm used to but it will be fine. I'm going to make an Amy-signature when I get the time.

What avatar did you want to use? Is it one of the forums? and yes, try uploading it using the URL. That might work. Let me know. Nemezide, I have added an avatar to your profile. If you would like a different one then try changing it yourself and if that doesn't work then let me know which avatar you'd like and I'll change it for you. If anyone else is having problems please let me know which avatar it is you want to use and I'll change it for you.
