I don't like that you compared loving and worry about Amy as a negative thing.

It's not a negative thing :S I never said it was, did I? But this is how it works:

Emotion 1: we all love Amy and want her to get better.
Emotion 2: we feel like complete shit if we think about things related to her at the moment (because we care of course).

These feelings are conflicting. One Amy related emotion is good, the other one bad. Now what your mind does is make you love her even more so it's worth feeling shit. It's one of the best documented and supported psychological theories ever, I didn't just make that shit up myself. I'm sorry if it made you feel bad but that's how it goes, and I don't see anything negative about it either to be honest. It's human nature.

Ohh okay! Yeah I gave those examples cos they're easy to understand, never thought about how negative or positive they were.. I wasn't offended btw, just a bit surprised about your reaction.
