If you had to choose between Frank and Back to Black, which would you choose, and why? Personally, I'd choose Back to Black. I relate to more of the songs on there.

That's a tough one! I think overall I prefer Back to Black. To me, that album makes it sooo apparent how much artistic growth Amy went through after Frank. I've been listening to Frank a lot more recently, though, but overall I prefer BTB. Likewise, I relate to these songs more.

Frank is good too, but Back To Black is definitely my favourite. By far.

I adore Frank, but I prefer Back To Black, definitely. The songs are catchier, more meaningful, & I just like the style better really

I listened to Frank lots of times before her BTB album was released, so I have a soft spot for it. I love BTB too, but if I had to choose, I would say Frank, because thats when I fell in love with her voice!

B2B, because it is an instant classic, and it was my first experience hearing Amy. Frank is really growing on me - I love how she sounds so strong on Frank. She's so fragile on B2B - but heartache makes great music......

When I first heard BTB, I found it hard to get into because I'd loved the jazz sound of Frank so much. But now I've changed my mind - much as I still love Frank, her singing and lyrics in BTB have matured. Wonder what her next album will be like?

My choice is not very objective cause I don't quite know "Frank". I'm now discovering it. "Back to blak", which has my vote, is one of my most played albums for this past summer. And one of the best I've heard in a long time. Happy new month everyone. :-)

B2B's lyrics are so meaningful, you can hear her pain. That's what I've chosen

I'd go with B2B as well. In fact I find it hard to think of an album ever where every single track is first rate. While I don't think Frank is of such uniformly high quality I do think it does test her vocal range a bit more -especially in the higher register such as October song with her Sarah Vaughn -like delivery.
