Back when Muslim Cordoba was the most civilized city in Europe, they introduced the distillation of booze. Spain was also the only country in Europe to maintain a tradition of African - based music, kept alive by Gypsies : flamenco.
It was the sugar/rum trade that started the slave trade and eventually, through the same triangular route, re-introduced to western music what had been missing for a thousand years : soul - unlimited ranges of tonality and rhythm.

LOL I still think that we're going a bit far to try and get a propper meaning.
Considering what Alan said about Spain = Alcohol (which could be something along those lines really) I've tought that perharps she's talking about sangria (which english people seem to adore) or even paella Yet I still think she means she's smoking weed (Jamaica) in Spain.
