Welcome to the March edition of Sounds Jewish.
Jason Solomons is joined in the studio by Naomi Alderman, the author of the prize- winning novel, Disobedience, and Tim Samuels, presenter of the upcoming BBC2 documentary, The Poles are Coming.
Is the burka coming to the Jews? It turns out that a garment, known as the frumka and similar in style to the Muslim burka, is now being worn by some ultra orthodox women in Israel. We speak to the Jewish Chronicle's Miriam Shaviv to find out what lies behind this trend to cover up more than ever before.
Is Amy Winehouse someone we Jews can be proud of? And what do Jewish mothers make of her? A group of hairdressers from Golders Green put down their scissors and give us their verdict
We continue our "Voices of Israel" series, marking Israel's 60th anniversary year. This month we hear from Yasin Adam, who is one of Israel's most recent group of immigrants – from Darfur.
And look out for the JCC's event, Spiel, on the shifting portrayal of the Holocaust on film at the ICA at the end of the month.
Finally, if you're ready for a spring shopping spree and want to get away from it all you can win two flights to New York on the JCC's website by telling your friends all about it and the podcast.
Sounds Jewish is produced by the Jewish Community Centre for London

I am Jewish and LOTS OF US JEWS are PROUD of Amy. So, YES we can be proud of her. Anyone can be. That's a personal decision...just because someone makes mistakes, doesn't mean they aren't talented and aren't HUMAN. It would be hypocritical to dislike someone for making mistakes. We all mess up. She is a beautiful Jewish woman with an amazing voice. Yes, we are proud.
