She was 45 mins late which didn't go down well as the weather was terrible and loads of bands had their sets cancelled. There was a fair amount of booing.
The band came on (in traditional Bestival fancy dress, the theme this year was 30000 freaks under the sea, hence the sailor suits) and Amy left them there for a good 5 mins before she came out.
She looked a fright and like a bunny in the headlights.
She was intro'd by Zalon as AW not Mrs or Miss so Blake couldn't get all arsey like he did at Shepherds Bush.
She started with Addicted and missed most of the lyrics, the sound was far too low and you could barely hear the bits she did sing.
Then came Just Friends and TDOTO.
She pulled it together for Cupid and crowd started to get behind her. She's now doing well.
THen she launched into B2B with Walking in the Sand in the middle and she did this well and didn't get lost as she is apt to.
Then Wake Up Alone, LIALG and ITYIWT.
In the middle of this she announces the band and they all do a solo, Zalon completelt steals the show with an amazing rendition of Killing me Softly.
Then she announces that coz she was late they making her stick to the original finish time so will only be a 45 min set, she says that she's going to try to fit as much in as poss and that 'I've got ADD so it's fine with me'. They then do M and MJ, Valerie, Rehab very fast to fit them in. Was fab and funny.
She won the crowd over by the end and they were cheering but there were a lot there only to see her fail. Was a good gig in the end but can kinda understand people being pissed off as she sings the songs so differently live that they think she's pissed anyway.

I find it really sad seeing her now, she's a shadow of her former self and its like seeing Babyshambles at a festival, half the people are only there to boo, complain and egg them on to fail.
But Blake did act like a complete arse at SB when Zalon made the mistake of intro'ing her as Miss. He threw a complete tantrum. He was right by Elton John and put him to shame. Sorry if posts seem a bit disjointed but finding my blackberry hard going.

Yeah, I felt sad back in November at Hammersmith, you could tell she was under a lot of stress. Now almost a year has gone by.
I hope Blake has grown up some in prison. Still can't figure out how a guy like that ends up with Amy Winehouse. Oh, didn't realize Elton was there. I'm a big Elton fan.

OK, now I'm really jealous, you saw her at Somerset House too. What a great place for a summer concert.

Hammersmith was soooo horrible, especially after so many fantastic other gigs. Really wish I'd gone to Brixton the night before as all the reviews were fab.
Yep elton and hubby were there, can't remember who else tho.
Somerset House is a lovely venue. Weather seems to stay OK too.
If Blakey had an ounce of maturity that slip would have given him a chuckle. Can't believe he's Amy's big hope for sobriety.
Exactly, they'd only been married ten days, shouldve cut Z some slack
