I just hope she'll get it together for this weekend's performances. Jayne, I'd wish you could go!

So do I but I don't "do" festivals, it's a bit rough for me :) I'd love to go but the thought of muddy fields and camping, sorry but I'd rather watch in comfort at home, but the atmopshere must be great.

Thanks for all these links Jayne, you rock.

We don't get BBC3 here, so I'll have to rely on this forum for live coverage.

The muddy fields and camping are part of the fun for me. But I probably won't feel the same about it when I'm 42.
And I go back to... I go back to us.

Bruised, battered and desparate for a fag she may be, but Amy is our 21st Century Piaf: flawed yet fabulous, tormented yet towering. Think of her this way and hope that the still remarkably young woman under the eyeliner thinks that way too. - Jude Rogers, The Word

D'uh! Jayne, I forgot to look at your age, LOL! We're about the same age. Last weekend, I went to a George Clinton concert at a local festival. The man was in his 70s, and most of the original members of Parliament Funkadelic were there, too. They were slower, hoarser but the music was tight and they were wonderful. "Cosmic Slop" was BEAUTIFUL!!! It was fun, but after 2 hours of standing on my feet, my age began to rear it's ugly head. Mud and camping would be the death of me. True dat, pearljo......age 30 was my limit to acting a fool and 'having fun'.
