I'm bringing it up again, because I'm still not over it. I was so shocked I thought I was going to fall over. I wanted to throw my beer at her... but that would've been a waste of a perfectly good beer.

Bruised, battered and desparate for a fag she may be, but Amy is our 21st Century Piaf: flawed yet fabulous, tormented yet towering. Think of her this way and hope that the still remarkably young woman under the eyeliner thinks that way too. - Jude Rogers, The Word

Did I tell you about Kate's performance at Rock Werchter?

That bad, huh? She got really terrible reviews for her shows over here a few months ago

Let me put it this way.. at a certain point she started singing 'her angry song'. And that was the point in the show where I started looking around, desperate to find a perverted asshole that could spike my drink so I could forget all about that hellish torment. That bad, huh? I do remember that she was asking what day it was and then she was like "ooh, it's Saturday. So you don't have to go to school tomorrow, you can have a partyy tonight".
We were like "darling, festivals generally end on Sundays anyway, the summer vacation has already started here and besides do we look like we still have to go to school? (hmm the girls at the front probably did)".
No offence to Kate Nash fans though.

Wasn't it her birthday the next day btw? How the hell does she not know what day it is? Give me a break!

Hmm she's two years older than me, didn't sound like it really.
Oh well, at least she had fun.

I'd like to add my own commentary... This year Amy Winehouse annoyed this critic by pulling off a brillian, polished and sober performance that will go down as one of her best.
Take that Lisa Verrico!!!!!!!!!!!!
