You can watch it on BBC iPlayer here, or if that doesn't work it's on YouTube in four parts: 01 02 03 04
& for anyone who doesn't want to watch the whole thing, there are just little parts of Amy saying things like "I don't do Dinah songs because she made them her own. It would be a bit like slitting your own throat really - pointless", and that one of her favourite things about Dinah was that if a man was going to dump her or something, she wouldn't diginify him with a response. I dunno if they're the exact quotes, but I watched it like a week ago now.

I wish I could see the whole thing, but the extracts were so interesting. I love Amy, she looks so pretty here. I love the way she talks, and I love when she talks about MUSIC.
Dinah is so sassy. I love how she sang so sweet, but was so tough. Wish she had better luck though. It is terrible that she died so young.

"Winehouse is a true original, and that's a quality that easily stands the test of time."

thanks for posting, it's actually good, they have great video footage. I tried to find the whole thing on you tube but i didn't have any luck, and the bbc player is only for the UK. do you know where i can find the rest of the documentary?
The Lioness has rejoined her cub, and all is right in the jungle.

this is great. Amy calls her the "queen of the hand in your face". She was one tough broad, and so brilliant. did not know she was a "walking pharmacy" or that she always carried a gun on her. and what a coup for Amy to be a participant in the documentary.
They sho don't make 'em like they used to.

I've been listening to Dinah Washington a lot recently, and she is amazing. It is also really striking how much her voice and intonation reminds me of Amy. Like Winehouse is, she was a very talented woman, and her personal life reflected her exceptionality. The documentary with Amy is on YouTube here:

Amy does look great here too. She's in classic Back To Black mode, very 2007, I think it was definitely her year.
