I've had disagreements and disappointments with a few of the members in this forum. However, unlike the Asylum, people can feel free to basically disagree whilst being agreeable. I've never seen the hyena-like attacks and outrageous bullying like the Asylum. See the pattern? This is like a 2nd home, to me, I've met great and fantastic people in here, as well and made several friends.

To whomever takes over, please rule with a sharp mind, tough skin and wise heart. I don't want this wonderful place to end up like....you know. Thank you for all you've done, Claire.

Chai, you've fought a very lengthy battle against those Amy nay-sayers. I HIGHLY respect you for putting this much time into uniting Amy fans all over. I just hope this forum can continue to run smoothly!

Best wishes for the future! :)

Sorry to hear that Clare, but understand.

You have definitely left your mark on a wonderful forum for Amy fans, for which I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Just don't let it fall into the hands of the media. Haha.

Hope it continues, and hope to see you on here sometimes.

...and, good luck in your future endeavours.

Hi Clare,
Just logged in, and I have to say i'm sad! :(
I know i'm only on the forum a while, but its a place where I felt at home straight away!
People don't always agree with each other on here, but everything said about Amy comes firstly from loving her!
I really hope that you change your mind, but if not, good-luck with whatever you are doing!
And thank-you for giving us a place where we can feel at home!

Can't say I'm happy about it, but I understand your reasons.

So is there actually someone who wants to and can take over the forum? I'll be happy to help financially but I don't know how to run a forum.
And I go back to... I go back to us.

Hi Clare, I understand where you're coming from and will respect your decision. I feel totally frustrated with Amy sometimes, so I wouldn't be the right person to take over! But I hope someone else will be able to. I'm not a member of any other Amy forums and don't plan to be. Over time I've grown fond of this site and the members, so I hope it will continue. Also I hope that if you do decide to step down, you'll still drop in now and then. Thanks for everything you've done, Tara xx

I care for you a lot Clare and, just like Amy, I want you to be happy. Could your moderators run the show till Amy improves and you just peek in whenever(or not)?

If bills are coming due just email those who have already given, I'm glad to help.

Honestly, if Amy isn't A LOT better in 3-4 months I'll probably give up myself. Can you stand 3-4 months? If not that's cool.

ps...If my above post is bullshit, thanks for all you've done Clare. It's not easy to put a forum together where almost everyone gets along.

Happy Trails

Thank you for creating this forum, Clare. And for putting time, effort and money into making sure it runs smoothly. It's very much appreciated.

Don't forget to stop by every now and then! And good luck with everything!

Sad news indeed Clare... I think we've all sensed your pending breakup with Ms. Civil for a while now. I always said loving Amy was a difficult task, much like being in love with a bad boyfriend. So you may have chosen your path and she might be left behind. I understand and respect that choice.
I will always owe you a debt of gratitude for allowing me in the door, giving me a place to call HOME and for the opportunity to meet all the great people here that I now consider not only FRIENDS, but FAMILY.
