if it is true.. i guess i'm not being very optimistic but i really saw this coming.. i dont think until she gets SERIOUS help these kind of things will stop (sudden trips to the hospital and blah blah blah). I dont know what the rest thinks but a long holiday in the caribbean cant save someone from an addiction without real medical help in my book. But then we, first of all, dont know if she's getting help, and what kind of it, secondly, dont know what really caused this, and more importantly, we dont even know if this is true. So i dont even know if i should worry.
^ I agree with you! It's hard to say what is really going on. Fact is that she at least gained some weight and looked a lil more relaxed on the recent pictures. I'm not sure if she really can beat her drug addiction over there. I just hope that she gets some professional help! I also believe that she needs a real treatment to beat something like this ... a vacation won't really help in the long run ....
Hmm ... many sites are reporting this story so I kinda believe that she went to the hospital. There is no reason to specualte about why she is there though. I just wish her all the best and hope that she stays strong and keeps her head up!

I agree.I'm not worried, she'll be fine. Things like this are bound to happen on the road to recovery.
Bruised, battered and desparate for a fag she may be, but Amy is our 21st Century Piaf: flawed yet fabulous, tormented yet towering. Think of her this way and hope that the still remarkably young woman under the eyeliner thinks that way too. - Jude Rogers, The Word

The thing i am wondering about is shes been in St. Lucia and supposedly off drugs how long? The withdrawal period is usually gone after 30 days or less she still shouldnt be getting sick. But then again i know better, drinking can be just as bad if not worse in some cases. I'm just praying this is a incident not related to drugs or alcohol.
The only reason I think withdrawl MIGHT be a possibility, if this article is true, is because they said she's run out of her drug substitute, which logically, I don't know if its true though, once the body realizes that its not getting that drug or its substitute, it will go into withdrawl. I think that the substitue, once again IF its true, has been keeping Amy from experiencing withdrawl. After all, we haven't heard any stories yet about her going through withdrawl, have we?
