http://blogs.mirror....nts-to-due.htmlJustin Timberlake wants to duet with Amy Winehouse
The offers keep rolling in for Amy Winehouse - the latest is she's been invited to collaborate with Justin "Trousersnake" Timberlake. SexyBack star Justin is so keen to get involved with Amy he's offered to fly out to St Lucia to meet her at her own studio at whatever time suits her. What a compliment.
But Justin is going to have his work cut out persuading Amy to say Yes, Yes, Yes to a duet or letting him be producer as I hear she's got mixed views about the direction of her eagerly-awaited third album. She's already turned down Snoop Dogg and Eminem. A close friend of the singer revealed to me: "Amy gets thousands of offers a week from other artists.
"Justin Timberlake is one she is considering. But Amy will only do it if the other person's music fits the mood she is in at the time.
"She's had a hellish few weeks finding out new revelations about her soon-to-be ex-husband, but she is also enjoying herself in St Lucia.
"She's been doing a lot of thinking." However, I'm excited to hear her record company are flying legendary Back To Black producer Salaam Remi to the Caribbean next month. But could Justin make it a SexyBack to Black instead...?
Another day, another duet.....

But if someone mentioned Stevie Wonder, then I'd say: yes, yes, YES!
Disclaimer: not actually Amy's words.

Bruised, battered and desparate for a fag she may be, but Amy is our 21st Century Piaf: flawed yet fabulous, tormented yet towering. Think of her this way and hope that the still remarkably young woman under the eyeliner thinks that way too. - Jude Rogers, The Word

"I turn my head to the east, I don’t see nobody by my side.
I turn my head to the west, still nobody in sight."
Amy: "Dying old or never meeting Tony Bennett; if I never get to meet him, I might as well be dead."

Timberlake has been known to charge fans for autographs...
"Splash News reports that *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake is earning a reputation as a cheapskate after the singer tried to pay for a late-night bowling party by handing over two tickets to his concert in lieu of cash. Timberlake hit the joint with eight pals and told the owner of the Yerba Buena Bowl in San Francisco he would give her two tickets to his ‘Justified & Stripped’ tour to let them bowl for free. “He was very nice, but his people kept trying to get a deal,” said the bowling alley’s manager Barbara McBride. “I did discount their shoes, but they decided to stay late.” Apparently Timberlake didn’t like having to pay, and didn’t leave a tip. McBride added that Justin even charged fans there $20 for an autograph. “If I’d wanted the tickets it might have seemed like a fair trade,” said McBride. “But… I have people to pay.”
