WINEHOUSE SWAPS GIG FOR FOOD

AMY WINEHOUSE has sung for her supper - she struck a deal with her neighbour to cook a meal in return for a private gig.
The Back to Black hitmaker was hosting a barbecue at her house in Barnet, north London, but started to worry about taking control of the cooking.
When she noticed her next door neighbour grilling food in his garden, she asked him to help her out - on the condition she will play a mini gig for him.
A source tells Britain's The Sun, "Amy was having a party at her home in Barnet. She bought loads of meat and booze and was about to get started when she began to worry about cooking it.
"She's a good cook but struggles with the barbie. She didn't want to burn herself or the grub. It came together in the end as her neighbour agreed to help in return for a private gig one day."

I think this is lovely news, and I'll assume that she needed loads of booze for loads of guests, and that she loaded herself with some of those loads of meat. No drink, yes eat, Amy!:-P

i love love love her domestic side! i'll never forget the picture of her handing out treats to little trick or treaters at her house on Halloween night. it warmed my heart, with everything she was going through at that this was important for her to do.

Hahh i was about to post this one right now.
This is just...SO Amy right? I mean...how cute damn it? Would love to be there too!

It`s still surprising...she seems to be doing so many RANDOM activities. I was picturing her being in a terrible state and crying her eyes out...maybe drinking a lot or just looking at the pictures of that album...and now i`m reading this and...a BBQ? Makes you wonder what other unpredictable things she may do.
She might be trying as hell a LOT to keep herself busy but still...a BBQ party is such a great way to have fun.

Amy did all of the cooking except for grilling the meat. She asked the boy next door to help out. Just like Amy to return a favor a hundredfold.
