Her label is not about to wait years to release another Amy album.

that's what lawyers are for. besides they already have waited years.
is it sade that goes about 8 years between albums? maybe that's the arrangement she has with her label.

You do know that they've been trying to get Amy to finish this record since 2008, right? Every since she was in St. Lucia and they were building recording studios down there for her to record. The label invest in her and try to turn a profit. They wanted more material like Back To Black and wanted her to work with Mark Ronson again. They have the right to want a high quality product to invest in.

There are many artist that take time in between albums. Fiona Apple is another. But when a label is trying to crank music out of you because you = $$$ then it's not so easy for an artist to disappear/take a break. The only reason why Amy hasn't released anything is because Amy inhibits herself from doing so. They're not going to invest in her only for her to keep messing up. I'm sure the label pays for these gigs, bands, equipment and travel for Amy. Her showing up drunk isn't working for her or the label.

With this whole touring bit, I don't think Amy cared for it in the first place. She'd probably rather be in a bar testing out new songs. IDK. Why in the hell did Amy need to be in Istanbul(?) and Serbia is beyond me. Why not keep her in London doing gigs until she gets better? Not throw her in front of thousands to feel the pressure and get booed? Not blaming them but baby steps, please.

I'm impressed with the don't mess with me look, though I wish she had more to smile about, or maybe she has, but she's hiding it well, which shows good sense, considering who's hiding behind the bushes waiting for her to trip, and if she does, make it look like it's all she does. It's not, and those people need help more than she does. End of lecture.;-)
