Amy to join Dionne on Strictly Come Dancing



Well, here's some exciting news. This Saturday evening, Dionne Bromfield will make her TV debut, with a live performance on BBC1's flagship entertainment show, Strictly Come Dancing. And who will be joining her to sing backing vocals? None other than Dionne's godmother and label boss, Amy Winehouse! Amazing.

"It's really exciting," Dionne just told us. "I'm not nervous now, but I probably will be on the day!"

the clip was on for less than 15 seconds, like flash-news....
and then they discussed it for 1 minute on the couch with a man (dont know who he is).

This is very exciting! We haven't seen Amy in an up-close TV setting since - when? The 2008 Brits? Has it really been that long? I can't think right now - my brain has frozen.

Anyway, I know the focus will be on the dancers, but just a glimpse of Amy in a non-festival non-tabloid setting will be such a treat!

I didn't understand one thing....have you noticed that in Amy's official website theres an interview with her and Dionne? Cause there is!!!

Looks like that interview was taped in Amy's backyard. Definitely a treat to watch, given the rarity of her interviews these days. Only wish it were longer.

Edit: My favorite part is when Dionne says with mock seriousness that Amy beats her every day. Amy gets this big smile, then Dionne hugs her, and Amy comes back with the one-liner. Just wonderful.

Between the loud music and Amy's and Dionnes' accents, etc., I'm missing a fair bit of the conversation...does anyone understand all of it?

e.g. where did Amy hear her sing when she was 11?
and at the end Amy says something about Dionne will always have ????
