The forum always logs me off at 9:30 PM my time (US East Coast). Everyone else seems to get logged off too. Why does it do that?

Thanks guys, now I know it's not just me. It's very annoying.

I'm guessing it's some kind of programmed maintenance event in vBulletin, timed to occur in the middle of the night London time.

Still haven't seen it happen, but I always come here via a link to the forum/index.php page, and count on my cookie to keep me always logged in.

Tks, but no need to waste too much time on this... it's not really a big issue.. just strange...lol .....and, Dave's explanation is likely near the mark....

Interesting, I just got logged off now, at 10:30 PM US East Coast time, which is 1 hour later than usual. But I know the clocks are being set back 1 hour in London tonight. So the auto-logoff does seem to be tied to London time.
