Yeah I agree with you there.. She is so young and even Amy said herself she's much better than she was when she was her age.
I can see her blossoming into a real superstar.

Did anybody see her do that cover of "If I aint' got you" by Alicia Keys on Pete Dohertys youtube channel?
I tried to find it but he's deleted it >:-( x

amazon.ca

as low as Can.$29.19 from resellers; $32 standard

It seems to me that I saw a special on last week on amazon.com and the prices was $10 off, so maybe it'll change again down the road

from a new interview with digital spy:

Finally, have you had a chance to hear any of Amy Winehouse's third album?
"Maybe I have, maybe I haven't... haha! I'm not really supposed to talk about it. It could have been hers or it could not have been! It's great that she's given me this opportunity, so I'm just so grateful to her for that."

I think I'm going to pass on buying Dionne's album. She has a really good voice, and I'm sure she'll do very well. At the end of the day, she's a 13 year old girl putting out an album of cover versions, and her music isn't really my cup of tea. If she wasn't Amy's Goddaughter, then I don't think I'd be interested at all. Good luck to her, though - she has a lot of talent.

I've decided not to buy it either. I'm not that interested in her. I find the song choices fantastic, and she has a great voice but there are a lot of albums which appeal to me a whole lot more.

Well explained as always by Lainey.

i don't listen to amy for the genre, i listen to her for the brilliant, original music/lyrics/vocals etc. for me dionnes album is like amys, but without the personal experience, without the personal lyrics, without the soul... if you know what i mean. and that's what i love about amy's music, not the fact that it's 60s pop-based.

^defo. thats exactly what i like about her music. she's the ultimate artist, she's got the lyrics, the life experiences, the soul, THE voice, the originality and in-your-face atitude, that is laking on most artists right now. shes art personified
