Good play of words.
"Her name should be Amy Whinehouse"
Nevertheless, I like her voice and it's a real pitty that there ain't no new recordings from her, at least as far as I know. I don't care what the media are reporting about her, I just feel very sorry for her as a person and highly talented musician. I rather blame them for not letting alone this sick young woman. Unfortunately many artists have similar problems but shall I banish Charles Baudelaire, Janis Joplin, Billy Holiday, Charlie Parker, Chet Baker, Ray Charles, Charles Bukowski, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Curt Cobain, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash etc. etc. from my shelf because of that ? NO. They have done a lot more for our culture than probably any of those cheap pop stars and starlets will ever do in their little lives which of course doesn't mean that non of them are worth a dime.
This finally had to be said!
Standing up for Amy

The music arists mentioned above were paid nowhere near what Amy has made, so they worked...and worked...and worked. And, however messed up they were in their personal lives the show went on.
I hope Amy's able to recreate herself with a decent work ethic that shows respect for the fans who made her what she is in the music industry. There's no denying her huge talent, if she would just get out of her own way...

I don't think the public has buried her as far as her artistic accomplishments of the past, but she has deliberately created a bad ass persona whose acting out and bad behavior is all the public gets now. And, that seems ok with her.
Its all so so true..

I just hope the pressure of topping her last success isn't the thing causing her problems/anxiety now. I KNOW my girl has the skills to do it.
