Amy Winehouse has reportedly confessed to a friend she is bisexual and has ''had relationships with other women''.

The 'Back to Black' singer - who married Blake Fielder-Civil in May 2007 but got divorced in August 2009, after Blake filed for divorce on grounds of adultery - reportedly told a friend she has had relationships with women as well as men.

The 26-year-old star revealed to the pal: "So what? I like girls as well. I have had relationships with other women but that doesn't mean I don't still love Blake. There is something about being with a woman that is very satisfying. I don't care what people think about me being bi - I do what feels good."

Speaking with Amy's consent the friend told the News of the World newspaper that Amy has feelings for other women and has a crush on Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole.

She said: "There is nothing restrained about Amy's sexuality. She doesn't hold back and says what she feels. She often talks about other women. Her favourite is Cheryl, who she really fancies. Most women can appreciate another woman's beauty but Amy definitely takes that to the next level."

Despite being bisexual, those close to Amy still believe she end up reconciling with Blake, 27.

The source said: "Right now, she's absolutely devastated. She's had a horrible few days and doesn't know what to do. Whether she's deluded or not, Amy genuinely believes her and Blake are a fairytale who will end up together one day."

Exactly :smiley: And while it probably is true, I'm pretty sure they don't have any actual evidence (that they didn't make up). The amount of contradictory stories they print about Amy every other week, surely nobody really believes it any more.

Why would it be true? Last week Blake was into men, now Amy is into women. It's just another story made believable by her "rebellious" image.

Sorry for the cranky reaction, but things like this irk me so much. I'm so sick of everyone constantly labeling other people's behavior. Experiment with the same sex? You’re bi. A little on the thin side? Anorexic! Feeling down? Depressive episode, go see a shrink. And the list goes on and on. Gosh.. why can't we all just chill with the boxes already?

It's sad though. I think there's quite a bit of prejudice in the gay community towards bisexuals and there are way too many dirt bags out there confirming it. Ugh, I cringe every time I hear about it. I feel the same about fidelity as you and I can't understand why other people can't be monogamous. So what if you're bi? You're a grown up, make a decision and friggin stick to it. If you're straight or gay you can't have it all either, now can you?

There is a lot pf prejudice towards bi on both sides of the gay coin. I guess ome peolple feel it's greedy? Maybe they feel it is indecisive? Who knows.
