Yeah, they all sound very similar. It's crazy how many wrong lyrics you see on the lyrics sites. Especially on her songs from "Frank". Some of them are just ridiculous! I've sent in corrections on a lot of them but I don't think they ever post them.
Isn't it ironic?

It's funny (or sad, I guess) but that's exactly what I think about every time I hear that song. It's kind of like a letter from young Amy to older Amy. Obviously not the whole thing but some parts ring true.

Yeah, I guess Amy inevitably grew into that older sadder woman she makes fun of in this song.
I don't mean to be disrespectful to Amy, but I don't really like the way she turned out, with the fake boobs, and what seemed at one stage to be artificially blumper lips...Pictures of her out with Reg, in that pink dress, striking pinup poses with her nipples popping out of her dress, I really think she kinda became trashy, not the confident young fearless Amy we once knew.
I can't help but think that if she was still alive today, she might've ended up all surgically enhanced, like a new addiction...
Just a thought, still think she had more class than most people!

She always enjoyed the pin up girls. She said she wanted to live in Miami with fake boobs. Its not like she one day just randomly decided oh i want large breasts! No, that was an idea she had for a while. The girl loved pinup models, if you couldn't tell by her arm tats! Plus, after all of the drugs, she lost a lot of weight and with it a lot of curves, i don't blame her for wanted to be full figured again. I dont find it trashy at all. I dont think she got her lips done, which is possible, but i think it was just the way she did her lipstick at times, along with the fake freckles. She looked great with reg, absolutely great, and quite frankly classy as hell. Her confident young fearless attitude is the same as many early twenty somethings. Its called maturing and i think she was.

Thanks for your point of view, I guess I hadn't really seen it that way. Like I said, I don't mean any disrespect to Amy, I just felt that she was lacking confidence in her final years and that this was expressed through her desire to have fake breasts. I hadn't really thought of it as a desire to look more like a pinup...

Yeah that's kinda creepy, and makes sense to it. Her lyrics in a lot of her songs, predicted a lot about her life though.

I completely agree... although her nipples showing (and being a little disheveled) happened early in her career as well.. I honestly don't think she cared, haha. I understand why she got the boobs, but why did they have to be so big? I mean, I think she had a small frame and they spilled out at the sides because she was tiny... although in the Frank period she did have them but even at that point I can understand her wanting them done (to be honest, they weren't all that.. perky). Her make-up was another thing that was becoming pretty artificial looking... and I remember her saying in an article that if she wore too much make-up she started looking like her auntie... and that she did, lol. I think her look was constantly evolving... it was always another Amy and we know how she was in the beginning... so fresh and beautiful.. that it's hard to accept her any other way.

I think there's a pic of her getting them injected.. at least that's what I saw it as especially after seeing some pics. But her lipstick is always a factor just because she had a way of doing them to make them bigger. I definitely agree with your last statement although I think the drugs may have permanently altered her personality and made her a lot tamer than in the Frank days. I don't know if classy would be the word to describe her (altho at some events without a doubt she was) but she wasn't "trashy" either, she just wasn't conventional but I don't see anything wrong with that... beauty comes in so many different forms and amy always had that going for her when she was out at an event.

And the tanning!...don't even get me started on the excessively orange tinge.
LOL... I agree. She was much more striking with her "paler" appearance. But I'm not a huge fan of tan anyway on most people... it kind of overwhelms everything about a person... same with the boobs took away from her gorgeous face.
