Amy Winehouse and Rolling Stones star in new rock 'n' roll exhibition

Iconic rock ‘n roll photographs are to be unveiled at an exhibition this week.

The Skate, Rattle and Roll exhibition will feature bands such as the Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Who as well as Jimi Hendrix and Bruce Springsteen.

Prints of the shots by three legendary photographers, David Montgomery, Terry O’Neill and Baron Wolman will be available to buy.

Mr Mongomery, who was born in New York, is credited with producing some of the most memorable images of the sixties.

He has also taken photographs of several members of the Royal Family including the Queen.

Londoner Mr O’Neill achieved his greatest success documenting fashion and celebrities in the 60s, including snaps of the Beattles and Stones.

Amy Winehouse and Al Pacino are among stars he has snapped.

American Mr Wolman’s work will also be included in the exhibition, to be unveiled on Wednesday night.

His career was launched in the 1960s when he took several photographs for Rolling Stone magazine.

The photographs are to go on show at the Brompton Quarter Brasserie in Knightsbridge.

Amy Winehouse died, and she's taken a part of my soul with her. May that part be the love that I felt for her, and may the love that I still feel for her be the undying part of us both.

She was high on a lethal combination of Blake & drugs then, so, consequently, very low on healthy energy; now she's much better, not being hooked that much anymore, thankfully, but following her own path instead.
