Great Amy performance! Was it from a radio show? Anyone recognize the "old codger"? Shame the mixing levels aren't better! There's too much brass, not enough Amy. Still, a joy to hear! Thanks!

This was taken from a BBC Radio 6 satellite stream that was broadcast earlier this year. It was originally recorded March (or maybe April) 2004.

Sadly, I lost most of my Amy collection in the hard drive crash of 2008... had an amazing recording of her at the Roxy which I miss dearly...

I do have a complete webcast rip of Amy's 2007 Lollapalooza performance which I plan to upload, as well as an early early pre-Dap-Kings demo of "You Know I'm No Good" that isn't on YouTube yet.

I know! Some of the best timing I've ever heard! Really pushing the beat & giving it incredible drive! Reminds me of what someone said about her voice wrapping around the beat like tendrils of poison ivy.
