Looks like I haven't lost my touch.
First, Amy, get sober 100%. The world won't be so scary when you stay straight.
As far as career goes? That's in God's hands and He's not especially reliable.

http://www.thenation...is-uae-audienceWinehouse opened with favourites such as Back to Black from the 2006 album of the same name and moved to selections from her 2003 debut album, Frank.
But, according to those in the crowd, the singer seemed distracted throughout the show, and briefly left the stage after 30 minutes, forcing her backing singers to step in.
She returned about 10 minutes later to perform Rehab, the chart hit from Back to Black, but was greeted with a hostile reception.
This is Winehouse's first time in the Middle East and the precursor to her European tour.
Anna Lewis, a Dubai resident from Scotland, said: "She just wasn't there. I paid Dh300 for this ticket and 10 minutes of it was her backing singers."
"seemed distracted"? "forcing her backing singers to step in"? That's what the early Brazilian press reviews said too, until it was explained to them that she's not a pop singer, and Zalon's song were part of the act. Sad if she was actually doing OK and all the booing was from ignorant haters. Young rich Arabs are the worst people I've ever met.
Edit: maybe she had the same thing Heshima was suffering from.
YasmeenaDaya: Amy Winehouse Live in Dubai } what a voice, as non-chalant and mesmerising as her persona- I only wish we could have heard more of it.

I just don't want this to become Winehouse's special touch in her shows.
You know, the fact that she may never even come, or be waisted, or forget the lyrics.
I have this woman tattooed on my skin for the rest of my life, i don't know about you guys, but i'll always be proud of her and everything she's done for art, music and soul.
But.. unfortunately, it's not enough.
So i'm with you too Crol.
Still praying some day things change
Missed you guys!

She's pathologically honest. It makes her singing great but messes up her life.
Dubai, it seems, was all crazy from a tidal wave of Saudi tourists on school holiday week who couldn't get to Egypt. Lots of complaints that it was badly organized. Anyone who wanted a good spot had to get there at 6 and then wait 3 hours. Sure way to make a surly crowd!
The Mirror is saying she was booed off the stage, but it was a 1:13 show (Same as Brazil), and several people reported that she got better as she went on, and her encore was her best performance. Who knows? "Those who say don't know; those who know don't say." lol

I think more work needs to be done before she continues her comeback.

A spokesperson for Amy said: "Amy had technical problems and couldn't hear herself during the gig. One of her in-ear monitors wasn't working properly."
