TONY BENNETT is making plans to collaborate with troubled British singer AMY WINEHOUSE.
The Back To Black hitmaker, who is preparing to make her comeback this year , is a big fan of the music legend and was seen attending two of his shows when he played in London last summer.
Bennett has now confirmed he has been in contact with the young star and they are hoping to head into the studio together.
He tells New York Post gossip column Page Six, "We're working on partnering up to record a duet together. But it's still in the works."

i dunno about insane, but it would be very cool. appears as if she's in a great place vocally and artistically to pull this off. I mean, Tony Bennett...this is the big time Amy!! Happy for ya, girl
I saw Tony Bennett at Radio City Music Hall years ago. He performed Fly Me To The Moon without a microphone. And still had us all choked up. Now that right there speaks volumes about the man, the artist, and greatness

How lovely would that be!! And it really shows how much respect people have for her if they are prepared to give her the chance. Will be a brilliant boost to her confidence! :)

Amy seems close to being actually living her dream... and ours, in many respects, which compensates for the nightmares that we've shared. Let bygones be bygones. From here on it's now and the future.
Amy Winehouse died, and she's taken a part of my soul with her. May that part be the love that I felt for her, and may the love that I still feel for her be the undying part of us both.
