Do people not get that Amy was a person with family, with feelings who are devastaed by her death? Some of the press out there is being downright horrid!! An article from The Boston Phoenix today really raised my hackles, but since I'm new here I can't post it. It's under the headline
Amy Winehouse, 1983-2011: reflecting on a death that comes as no surprise

Disgusting disrespectful and shameful :'-(

^^ makes me angry when i read disrepectful comments on my facebook page and twitter..how can anyone take the micky out of a dead person.

Some of the comments under her you tube videos are just vile..
it's so easy for them to criticize and look down on her because they haven't walked in her shoes, they can't relate. makes me sick tbh

i'm avoiding reading the press, or comments, or if i start reading something and see it's going negative i stop. you have to consider the source of many of these comments, it may be a 14 year old getting his jollies off...whatever, it's at least someone who doesn't care for the dignity of others.

I honestly am not surprised by the callous, insensitive and downright nasty comments that are being made.

Some sorry excuse for humans thrive on being nasty like parasites.

What REALLY matters is that the people who's opinion matter, are mourning her, her fans, family and peers in the entertainment world.

Also, she may have had her addiction, but she lived more in her 27 years, than most of these commenters will in their full lifetime.

She lived her dream, and was not without flaws. People always want to pass judgement and forget that when it comes down to it, we are all flawed humans.
