Hello everyone,
Not sure if its been discussed but I wanted to know if Amy's image change from Frank era to BTB was based on something specific. And her tattoos all seemed to just appear ....maybe she just wasn't in the public eye in between.
I guess she stood out more after she got the tats and the beehive too...

Does anyone have any info on this?

Her image...? IDK. I think after Frank, she wanted to lose weight so she lost it. I remember reading her in the gym doing cardio for 3 hours and eating soup and the rest. I think the tattoos came over time as each one represent something special to her. The overall beehive and eyeliner came with her love for the girl groups and whatnot of the 40s 50s and 60's.

I remember this pic when I first found out about Amy back in 2005.



There were a few from the private Mark Ronson gig in 2005 where she was really tiny.

Maybe she just wanted to lose weight and look what she felt was her best. Same reason most people hit the gym.

She got her first tattoo really young, didn't she? and had quite a few when Frank came out, so that wasn't a change, she just wanted more and more ink i'd guess I agree with ohmr, too!

I always figured it meant "Daddy's lucky girl" (because "Daddy's" and "Girl" appear right under the horseshoe) Just a guess, though.
