some amy goodwill - autograph giveaway
Posted 30 July 2011 - 09:59 PM
i have 8 autographs and i feel a bit greedy as some people on here never got the chance to meet her. she was always good to me so i want to pass that goodwill on.
i only have my autographs dedicated - but whoever receives this signed photo- they can use a small amount of nail varnish remover on cotton wool to remove my name if they wish.
the only stipulation i have is that it goes to fan who hasn't already got her signature and PROMISES me that it doesn't end up on ebay.
Right guys - whats the fairest way of doing this? xx
signed the last time i saw amy in the good mixer pub, August 2010.

This is a very kind gesture and good luck everyone.
PS if I was to win I assure you I would not part with it.

I'd LOVE to have one of those autographs and I wouldn't dare take anything off with nail polish. Who cares if it's not my name Lol! I'd never put this on Ebay.
I know I'm rambling, but man, I'd love to have one. How generous you must be to do this for fans. I'm not sure if Amy ever came to Detroit (couldn't get to any concerts at that time so I probably missed her).
EDIT: I do want to say good luck to everyone, also.

So am now off to have a gender change and buy myself a frock and then change my name to Julie as it will undoubtedly save on nail varnish.
How's that for devotion?

I think it's just a very wonderful gesture.
My thoughts exactly
But I wouldn't take it... or give it away to anyone if I had any. It's not so much about a signature, it's the memories and experience of meeting her, so I can say it would not have much of a meaning for me personally.
Regardless, I think that it's very sweet of you to do that.

I jusy joined this forum but ive loved amy since the first time i heard her music
Might sound odd but im having a hard time dealing with her death even though i didnt know her.
Laid flowers for her in camden, was very emotional.
Whoever gets them, will be so lucky! Hope there's a fair way to do this...and i hope i have a chance

THIS. Amy's music has already made her mark in my heart, so I'm happy for whoever gets the autograph. It'll be a lifelong treasure.
I'd love to have an autograph of Amy. Unfortunately I've never had the opportunity to meet her. So I'd be very happy to own that beautiful autograph. I'd hide it as a diamond & would never give it away.
P.S. That's so kind of you, Julie. Thanks! xx
